I didn't come to this movie with much expectations, since for the time being there aren't that many features that really manage to impress me, but I was taken by surprise... The cast was somewhat stellar (Lily Rabe, Vanessa Hudgens and last, but not least, Ed Harris)... But still I had my doubts... Nonetheless I kept watching it and I did get a good surprise.

Directorial debut for Lily Rabe, I cannot but congratulate her for it!

There are a lot of average movies around ("Late Night with the Devil" is just an example of how you can waste some time), but this one is a surprisingly good one.

I was just sorry it wasn't any longer.

Give it a try and I believe you won't be disappointed!

I need to apologize first of all, saying that I haven't seen Season 1 of this amazing TV series, so, since I started with Season 2, I am making my comments based only on what I have seen (anyway, I am so thrilled by Season 2, that, once I'm done with it I'll certainly check on Season 1).

Don't get me wrong, the fact that I love the series doesn't in any way imply that I have any sympathy for the main character, though I need to agree, it is depicted in such a manner that we get to have a glimpse at how complex people of his kind can be.

There aren't, for the time being that many series that have this depth and emotional charge.

There is no way, at some point ar another, that you may not feel emotional about this!

Trust me: this is one of the best TV series you have had a chance to watch lately!

I am not good at making reviews and I don't boast about having the terms that a movie critic masters.

I speak from the heart and whenever a movie touches me and has what it takes to make the world a better place I do believe its mission is accomplished.

In a world where faith is only a surface polish in case it arranges people to get to their selfish aims, where real love and solidarity are only words that are being used as well for selfish purposes, the real message of what human love means is touched here.

We are no angels, but once in a while, if we look and see, if we open our hearts, we can see that there is much more to life than competition, hatred, greed, bitterness... Once in a while we can be touched by an angel... This is a wonderful movie: if life has often disappointed you, if you feel hopeless and depressed, just give it a try.

Believe me, once you watch it, you'll feel a little bit better and you'll still have a little more faith in humanity and God.

I see that it needs an analysis of 600 charecters, but, honestly, it is a waste of time and effort.

The actors did the best they could given the circumstances, just as much as the operators, but the script is so bad that nobody ever, with the best talent or intentions could save it or make it pass an average score.... I wonder sometimes what is wrong with investors that put their money into movies or things r that have no artistic or intellectual value?!

It's a shame in a world where money could be used in a so much better way... A movie like this is not even likeable, so it's not going to make a blockbuster, and in terms of its message it's totally worthless, so why make it?!

I believe it's a good, solid movie, it made me think of "Vanilla Sky", that is also a great movie, maybe underrated at the time... You know, for instance I love Celine Dion, her music and I find her life kind of sad, thinking of the loss she had to go through when the love of her life, René, passed away, but the new movie where she holds a little part is nothing but boring and cheesy, excuse my language... So I don't really understand the bad critics on this one which has everything that a good, solid movie needs... Are there some haters that get ready to give bad ratings no matter what, simply because they don't like one or another of those that realized it?!

Give it a try and I promise you that you won't be disappointed!

This movie deals with the idea of post-partum depression, which is a recognized, unfortunately not enough understood pathology even in our modern world. Therefore I granted it a passing grade, were it only for its purpose and intent.

Nonetheless, the movie is pretty slow and I must admit I had a hard time watching it till the end, since the whole point is not made so clear, it unfolds very slowly and actually getting the point is not an easy task for the viewer... The actors are doing their best, I should admit, but the script is slow and hard to follow.

Good intent, I must say, but still not a solid script, not enough build-up...

I started to watch this movie having a good feeling about its plot, the promise etc...Unfortunatelly I never managed to pass the first 15 minutes, it was slow and so inexpressive and (I'm sorry!) boring that I could't get pass these first minutes... I simply couldn't connect with anybody there... The passing grade is for the efforts, since the results simply aren't there... I wish I could have connected somehow with the characters or the main one, but since there are only people who don't express anything to each other, I simply couldn't connect with the movie, either... I wish I could have...

I really don't understand the bad reviews here. It's a beautiful, well acted, feel good Christmas movie that is really worth watching! Give it a try and you won't regret it (if you're into Christmas movies and want something different from girl meets boy, have issues and solve them miraculously at Christmas...)... I am pretty sure that this movie has the potential to become a classic... The acting, the script, the imaging are just so mesmerizing. It has all you need at Christmas.

I don't feel like I need that many words to make you believe it's worthwhile, but I am pretty sure you won't regret watching it, most of you, if you still believe in Christmas magic.

I have nothing negative to say in terms of acting, image, build-up... But hey, is there any believable script over there? Some idea we can talk about when the lights are on?

I guess not, since there is not even a plausible explanation for what we see happening? Why is it happening? What is the reason of this manifestation? Why is it plaguing only certain people?

If the only explanation we have is that the main character is supposed to be punished for the fact of being afraid and tired, as a young child, of an abusive parent whom she had chosen to abandon to their fate when they had asked her to call the emergency line... Well, that's a thin line for predicament... I can say that the movie left me ''hungry for explanations''...

I simply don't get it... Why do you, people, trash this movie out?! It's a good one with a powerful message... Give it a try, people without prejudices... Since I believe there are a lot of homophobic people out there trying to get through by criticizing and diminishing this movie... It is a good, solid movie! Trust me on that! Watch it and then rate it!!!

Forget the negative reviews and make your own mind. It's a beautiful movie that will touch your heart. Take my word on it. The performances are solid, the images are so beautiful and the story is so, so touching and inspiring.

I've read some of the reviews here, most of them putting this series down.

However, since there are so many TV series that are less original and fare better (I might say, maybe, just a matter of taste) in terms of the viewers' ratings, I finally don't understand why a show like this that finally sets the light on history changing female figures that so far have been ignored by the popular spotlight gets such low ''grades''... I find ''The First Lady'' gratifying enough as compared to many, many other TV shows that are happening for the time being.

Give it a try: don't focus on the actual age of the performers (that's why they are called ''actors'', since they are supposed to play characters without being the characters).

I couldn't help just saying that this is an amazing TV series... In the end I just couldn't help my tears falling, that's how much it touched me. This is one of the best recent TV productions, just give it a try, if you have a heart it will touch you just as much as it touched me. It's one of those rare art works that stay with you even when the lights are on and the story reached its end.

As I have seen only one genuine review here (those giving it 10/10 must belong to some lobbyists that have certain personal interests in promoting it), giving it a 1, since there is no meaning, no explanation and no logic to the whole script, I felt like some enlightenement and honnesty were needed here. If you can spend an hour and a half simply looking at some nice imaging and actors that try hard enough to make it worthwhile, go for it!

If you expect to understand anything or simply have something that stays with you after this watch, just pass it, since the script is awful and it makes no sense whatsoever.

Maybe it's just me, the average viewer who doesn't have a vision of what the art cinema is and who cannot find enough entartainment, some sort of interesting catch or get any empathetic impression out of this movie, but I really don't get it how this kind of production could find its way into theaters. The script really sucks (pardon my French!) and the characters are not sympathetic, so how could we be interested, as viewers, by something as hollow? Too bad some people invested money into something like this and hoped to make a decent profit: that's a no/no!

Honnestly, don't spend your money or time watching this unless you really run out of options in terms of doing or choosing something else. Apart from the acting, the directing and the imaging that are decent, there's no coherent script to it, so the story in itself is pointless. Very disappointing after the whole watch!

I have seen way worse movies with better scores, so I really don't understand the extremely low score of this one that, to me, is a pretty solid independent movie, with a twist of originality and creativity that needs to be taken into consideration. It may not be Oscar material (anyway it's not a high budget superproduction to be taken into account there), but it's not as bad as its score, definitely. Try to give it a chance and watch it, without prejudice.

This movie is incredibly boring and gross. To be honest I watched the first 50 minutes (I believe it's a proof of endurance) and, since I was bored to death up till then, I gave it up. Not worth your time, much less your money. This is one of those examples of bad movies that, for some reason (lobbying, networking) get way too high ratings that are not deserved. It's a low budget, slow movie, lacking any plot or element that might get you to relate to or keep you entartained. The actors look and act like they were highly sedated before undertaking their jobs.

There are so many average shows out there that get high ratings and several seasons, since, apparently, they have high audiences, but I really don't get why all of a sudden the public and the critics became so picky about this one. To me this series is very well done, in terms of the plot, the acting, the atmosphere, the lighning, the scenery... It's a good, solid show. I would definitely give it a season 2. It would be so well deserved, since so many series that have less merits get several seasons for reasons of so-called high audiences. I really don't get it. Even movies that bore the s..t out of any reasonable person get to have high ratings, like for instance "My Heart Can't Beat until You Tell It''... That is a really bad movie, gross in so many ways (I don't like this kind of horror, since I am more into franchises like ''The Conjuring'' and ''Insidious'', that have some quality basis). Hey, I'm trying so hard to understand the so-called audiences and ratings, but I'm not. ''Clarice'' is a great series. Give it a try, now that the first season is complete and don't stop at the first episodes, please. You'll see it's worthwhile.

Call me stupid, but I found this movie rather long and boring... Well, I have given it a 4 for the efforts, but the movie in itself is long and has no head or tail... I really didn't get it!

I wouldn't have stepped in to write another review, since there are already enough of them, but I simply cannot understand the haters. Even for people who don't have the patience to look into intrigues that last more than thirty minutes, I wouldn't go as far as those who won't stop criticizing and putting down this series that kept me interested to such a point that I couldn't take my eyes off until it was over. I find the script intelligent, the acting great, the pacing exactly as it should... Through the current available series (mostly dedicated to police affairs or to superheroes that might appeal only up to a certain age), this is a really good one. No offense to the zombie fans or GOT addicts, but this is something else. Honestly, I don't understand the haters. Give it a try and be your own judge.

I have seen many negative reviews on it, so I felt like it needed some back-up here, since I find it well done, as another reviewer put it: Osmosis has lots of great ingredients that make up for a good series. I find the acting pretty good, the pacing, the images, the script. Besides the fact that we don't see familiar faces in terms of well-known TV or big screen actors (but hey, that's a good thing, since we could discover lots of fresh, new talents), I can't see many flaws. Two thumbs up from me.

I am not even sure this is a movie to be considered in the horror category, but I suppose it contains some pretty scary moments that qualify it for this genre. Well, in my opinion, this movie is more than a mere horror. Since people don't seem these days to appreciate movies that promote, even delicately and in a non-intrusive, dogmatic way, Christian faith, I believe that might be the reason for its low scores. I don't apply some rigid criteria in order to judge a movie, but whether a movie is able to convince me, make me travel and stay with me some time after it's over. Also, whether its characters, ideas, story touch me intimately is an important element that I take into account. This one managed to make me travel, it has touched me and still stays with me. It has fully convinced me. I haven't seen a single fake note in the actors' play, the images are great and, beside a solid, touching story, it provides the opportunity to visit nice places in rural and urban Romania that are exquisite and astonishing in terms of sightseeing. If you happen to have the opportunity to come across this movie, give it a try: you'll see it's way worth your time and money.

This is a movie that made me cry almost at the beginning when the protagonists have met. The girl is so kind that it makes me think of an angel. But there is nothing wrong with it since a movie is supposed to teach us the way we should be and what we dream of instead of who we really are... The movies and art in general teach us the best of who we were meant to be in the first place. It is a sad movie if we take it from the perspective we are used to look at life. But, if we are able to get beyond all the "happy ever after" and understand that life is just a passage in the most truthful way it is supposed to be seen we understand that the very concept of the movie is showing us the best we can do with our lives. Everything is meant to last just for a while and we should do the best with what we have... That's all life is about. If there is something after it it's just an unexpected prize or incentive. But then let's do the best with what we have now! Tomorrow's another day.
