A second look...
14 January 2021
Several years ago I rediscovered One Day at a Time on FETV, and for months I was addicted to this show every night. Then FETV was dropped, and I was without my addiction. Then I found that Antenna TV was picking it up on January 4 2021. I was beyond thrilled and SO happy - I'd be able to get my addiction back! Well..... I was so disappointed. I think what with the coronavirus happening, I did some work on myself, and found out this show was nothing short of really kind of ....dumb. The big reason is.....OVERACTING. Every character was running around and screaming all the time! I mean COME ON...calm the F down people! Ann Romano was the worst. It got on my nerves within 10 minutes. Couldn't watch it anymore...

What would happen if they all lost their money??
21 January 2019
Thats a good question, and perhaps MAYBE they would start looking at the substance of life, rather than the surface B.S. that they all seem to delight in doing. These women, are likely very smart, but they are far from being intelligent. I've watched it because its literally an exercise for pandering to the lowest common denominator of behavior. I could go on, but this is like every other reality show - a waste of good time. Ladies, do yourself a favor and get some therapy - hey maybe come and see me, since I AM ONE

A train wreck in progress
1 April 2018
Why the heck do I find this show fascinating? I think its because it is basically pandering to the lowest common denominator in human behavior. The astounding thing is that the participants in this show are all multi-millionaires. They are getting paid for acting as stupid as they possibly can. I realize that this show is basically staged and a lot of it is pretty phony - but why do we have to see this on TV? Stripping away every layer of human classy behavior seems to be what this show is about, as well as rewarding the brainless twits in this show for their stupid behavior. I have realized that the quality of television programming has slipped into the gutter in the last few years - but its really pathetic. I am a counselor and I celebrate those people who rise out of horrible situations and make something of themselves. This show celebrates the opposite. You too can drink and have sex with everyone, and when you open your mouth you sound like a moron with two brain cells to work with. Enough of this crap!

Flip or Flop (2013–2022)

Its all about the money....
10 July 2014
I think its a case where this show is like watching a train wreck in process. You don't remotely want to look at it, but somehow you can't tear your eyes away.

This show has no heart. No emotion whatsoever. When you're dealing with homes, emotion is what connects people to the home-buying business. PERIOD.

This show is about the money, and how much these people are making from each flip. Thats it, nothing else. The kind of example set by this couple is terrible. All you hear is them whining about how much its going to cost. No feelings, no connecting to people who come into their homes to see their work

Given that Tarek had a major health scare recently - I would THINK that perhaps he might want to thank the gods at work for his life and what he has. I don't even want to start on the Barbie/Ken aspects of the hosts, and how much they made from a flip, which I don't for one minute believe they actually DID what they said they did. Soften this show up.

I hope that these two read these reviews, and do something. The premise of the show is good - just doesn't have any substance to it
