Alone in the Dark (2005)
I'm Horrified!
Seeing these types of movies, makes me wonder, who slept with who to get this film into production?? Second of all, who did Tara sleep with to get this role?? Don't even get me started on her acting "skills". Also, I think the director knew this movie was going to be a flop, so out of the blue he just put a sex scene in there. It didn't have anything to do with the plot, it was like he just wanted to see a chunky Tara Reid get naked. Do you know how many movies got ripped off by this film. I saw so many scenes that i have seen from other movies like Aliens, X-Files, and basically every other movie out there. I wish i look at the comments on here before i watched this movie, it is in the bottom 100! Of course! 1 out of 10
Man of the House (2005)
5.1???
I do not see how this movie earned a 5.1 in ratings. That is being too generous. I could barely sit through this movie, very bad acting, bad plot, bad everything. Not to mention that this movie and The Pacifier have a lot of similarities. And being in Police Work myself, i can tell you that normally, they would have a Police officer at the front entrance and side entrance of the the house, and usually record their phone conversations. They would send a MALE police officer into the house and not let them leave!!! Oh yeah, and when the cheerleaders were naming names of past cheerleaders, i don't think it is true that Samuel L. Jackson was a cheerleader, now i may be wrong, but i just don't think i am. 1 out of 10
After the Sunset (2004)
Very Good Must See
I just got done seeing the movie "After the Sunset" yesterday, and I have to say that it was a whole lot better than what I expected it to be, and I would love to see it again in a heart beat. The plot was so well-thought out and the scenery is amazing! I love that Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek (sp) were in it. I don't think any other actor would have been able to do it better. And I thought that the ending was great, not some corny ending that I have been seeing with some movies lately. You should just go see the movie to know what I'm talking about.
I give this movie: 8 out of 10
Are We There Yet? (2005)
Disgustingly HORRIBLE
I used to be a big Ice Cube fan until this movie came out. I liked him in All About the Benjamins, and loved his music up until now. I have never written on IMDb before, but decided to do so i could warn you about this movie. This kind of plot has been done many times before. They somehow manage to get in ridiculous situations. And try to fit in jokes, but it just ends up being corny and dumb, not funny like they tried so hard to do. It was very obvious that the jokes were forced. The acting is horrible, they show no real emotion. the kids are beyond spoiled, if i was their mother (or Ice Cube) i would definitely be teaching them a thing or two about respect. and there is no way they could have pulled the stunts they did. Avoid this movie at all costs! 0/10
