It is super-bad, over-hyped and ratings are fake!
2 May 2017
If you believe this movie is good, you may as well believe crap tastes like chocolate.

This movie is for 8-10 year old's. Vol1 appealed to more mature audience, this does not. So much cringe. So-so-so cheesy. Yes, 99% of this movie is effects, but I don't think CGI alone this days live up to bring this one to 8+ rating. It's fake. It will go down, after the marketing hype and rating bots will fade away.

Watch it online later. It is not worth going to cinema.

Person of Interest: Provenance (2014)

Dumbest script writers EVER!!!
26 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
OK, the whole Person of Interest is cheesy alright. I'd call it cheesezilla and be sitting all sad, puking and jealous that writers are probably getting good money for such lame script. But this episode features some dumbest plot holes I could have ever imagined. Whoever wrote this, must have IQ waaaaaay below zer0. And no, I'm not referring to 3d printers capable of producing human hands with custom finger prints to pass the most advance security on the market. It's a science fiction, after all. I'm talking about "the bible heist". So it goes: we need to steal bible so we can trade it for hostage-child in Europe, as we don't have time to get across the ocean. So what they do: they do the heist, and catch the nearest flight to Europe, then do the trade, letting the bad guy hold the bible for a minute, and, at the very same minute, kidnappers are dealt with in Europe and the child is saved. Why the hell did you waste our time stealing the god damn book then? Why? It makes totally no sense! I mean, maybe it's hard to understand what I'm talking about, without actually seeing this episode, but believe me, the grade of stupidity here makes me lose faith in humanity!

Mediocre at best
23 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I'm always skeptical about superhero movies. They are bound to be childish and one-dimensional, with rare exceptions like "The Watchmen". Of course, now we're talking about TV-series, where expectations are lower and budget is thinner. Comics are for immature, retarded or kids, but you can actually feed some of this to oldies with strong sense of nostalgia, when villain names like "Penguin" are heard. Anyway, please pay attention to grieving Bruce in a scene, where his parents are murdered. Camera sliding off, leaving kneeing Bruce, his back turned to bodies, facing camera, thinking he's performing a freaking phantom of the opera part. What a phoney piece of cinematography. Far away from Nolan's vector in dealing with comic adaptations and I bet the whole series is going to be just like that - witless plastic aggregation of comic clichés, annoying women, stupid dialogs and plot holes (mind my words - Gordon's girlfriend will turn to be a puke-conjuring disaster)

Kids under 14 and McDonald-loving low-life hillbillies would enjoy it though.DO NOT believe those marking this show as "smartly written". It may seem this way for comic and pop culture zealots though, but please, do not insult those reading REAL BOOKS.

For those who think family comedies are crap - you'll love this one!
20 September 2014
What makes a good comedy? Is it character development, plot, production values, maybe? I would draw a straight line, because it's that simple: it should make you laugh. That's where most comedies with high production values, character development or expensive decoration and FX in the range of 8+ rating fail: they just don't deliver those skull cracking gigs and belly thrashing laughs. Is let's say "The Grand Budapest Hotel" a better movie? - Yes! Well, objectively, let's not deny obvious cumulative well earned 8.2 points. Did it make me laugh? - Nope, even though I've enjoyed my time spent, it only made me smile at utmost. Hence if you are "hate family comedies" kind of a person and want some pure and simple raw fun, turn to "How to be a Man" - you sure gonna love it.

Luc Besson at his worst.
23 August 2014
Luc Besson is famous for bringing up stupid ideas alive, full of plot holes, clichés and absurdity. This film is just so wrong, it bothers me even thinking of it. First of all, it is based on the painfully WRONG premise that humans use only 10% of their brain capacity. It tries to makes a serious statement, but is filled with completely dumb, illogical and unnatural scenes in the movie. Most of them were already described in others reviews, I won't even bother to write them here - the list is just so long, JJ Abrams himself never stood even close to it.

The movie is so bad, I actually feel pleasure reading negative reviews about it. Scarlett should never waste her talent on movies like this.

The amazing load of "we target 8 y.o. level of brain development audience"
31 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
What to expect from the most childish concept in the super-hero genre, like a Spider-man? We have seen many Spider-man installments before. Would we expect a love story? - Why not here, it's cash machine kind of a movie after all, let's target both boys AND girls audience. Let's put some effects, to fulfill our 225 million budget, so that film would be at least almost bearable to watch on blue-ray, if you fast-forward all scenes, where Garfield do the do soap-opera talking with his girlfriend. Let's ignore completely dumb human reactions, like why not run away from the security of your own company you're working in after just searching for a name of a fellow-employee? Why didn't the Spider-man JUST give his damn blood away? WHY did Parker become Harry Osborne's enemy after Spider-man refused to share his blood? Why everything is so far-fetched in this movie, you just want to puke? Puke all over this imbecile-super- hero-teen-love-drama? Why did this piece of a crap get 7+ rating on IMDb? Why does the 30mil District 9 feels way better in terms of visuals?

Anyway, I feel sorry for all those movie goers who actually LIKE it, as it is directly correlates to your IQ: the higher rating you give to this movie, the lower your IQ is.
