Clarkson's Farm (2021)
Heart warming, entertaining and gives a real insight
Quality show ... probably better entertainment than all of the Grand Tour episodes, coming from a hardcore petrolhead that says something!
Also highlights the issues farmers are facing every year which are seemingly getting worse.
Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)
Absolutely terrible
I can't believe anyone over the age of 15 could watch this CGI drivel and found it entertaining.
Hotel Mumbai (2018)
Well made depiction of a tragic event
You can never enjoy a film like this.
But you must see it. The portrayal of the terrorists speaking in Punjabi is an accurate detail as all but one were from Pakistani Punjab.
Ignore the 1/10 downratings from users in Pakistan or who those who don't it's actually a true story.
Green Book (2018)
Simply beautifully
A beautifully written and filmed real life drama. The portrayal of two people from completely backgrounds coming together on this journey, and the way they come across social and personal barriers and overcome them, is just beautiful.
Mahershala Ali & Viggo Mortensen did a great job here, also I had no idea of Tony Lip's history and that this was same man who went on to play Carmine snr in The Sopranos, this man lived a colourful life.
The scene at the end of the movie brought a tear to my eye, and that's coming from me, who as Tony Soprano would say, am a Strong Silent type , like Gary Cooper!
Last Flag Flying (2017)
Definitely worth your time.
Genuine, touching, at times sad and moving, funny at others . Cracking film and great all round performances. You actually feel like your watching 3 old mates reunite on what would otherwise be rather somber trip and depressing topic.
The Hateful Eight (2015)
Another Tarantino Masterpiece
Another alt-Western from Tarantino. Superb acting, and expertly set up for the spectular finale you know is coming.
