Masters of the Universe: Revelation (2021)
Strange....
Kevin Smith usually knows what he's doing with writing scripts. Guess not so much in this MOTU series. This must have just been an ultra long teaser... 💯💯
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
Damn, what can I say??
I thought the storyline wasn't all that shabby. Leflop acting was mostly a miss. There could've been better development around the Goon Squad. Shoutout to Klay & Dray though. Michael B. Jordan scene was cool, but still would've been better if the Michael J. Jordan actually showed up. Eh I might watch again at some point. 💯💯
The Witcher (2019)
Don't miss out!!
The Witcher is a series that you'll want to watch. Especially if you're a fan of the book and/or the video game. Henry Cavill is dedicated to the role of Geralt, and he delivers ten-fold in season 1. And finally Season 2 has a release date. From the trailer it will be even better. 💯💯
The Little Things (2021)
Go ahead!! Check it out!!
This movies much closer to reality than other cop films. As in doesn't follow the normal script. If you take that into consideration, then good chances you'll appreciate it more. As with any movie that has Denzel Washington as a lead. The acting was top notch. Honestly Jared Leto surprised the heck out of me.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
Pretty damn cool
From Ross (David Schwimmer) blaming the monkey 🐒 to Joey (Matt LeBlanc) telling the story of what happened hours before landing the role. And to everything else. Just like the actual series.. I didn't want this to end. It was fantastically hilarious seeing the six friends (along with various side characters) all at once again. 💯💯
again. 💯💯
Dad Stop Embarrassing Me (2021)
Light hearted and funny
Is it going to win some award? No it's not. It's meant to deliver laughs and not be taken too seriously. Those saying otherwise are too pc. 💯💯
Them (2021)
Watch this!!
There could have been a better portrayal of how not all Caucasians were racist. However with the trials of that time it must have felt like that for many good folk. The feeling of being ganged up on in such a way.. Heartbreaking. So other than being painful to watch at times, it was an incredible watch. The acting was as superb, as the writing. It was plenty creepy. All episodes kept me intrigued. The soundtrack was also amazing. If there's a season 2 I'll be watching. 💯💯
Redneck Roots (2011)
Something to watch for a quick laugh....
This movie has a few cringeworthy moments (As the acting isn't all that), and it's full of stereotypes. However, it's also really not meant to be taken all that seriously. The ridiculousness makes it comical (It also has heartfelt moments). So if you don't mind shotty acting, some cringe and aren't too easily offended (don't mind politically incorrect material). There's a chance *you might like* this. Lol
Side Note: The Grandma.💫 And the dog in the movie I liked the best. As I have the same breed. German Shorthaired Pointer.
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Definitely, worth watching!!
Every role was well acted, and the script was solidly constructed. The memory hopping was impressively pulled off. Tbh though idk why Dani had to turn lesbian, and she kind of deserved to be haunted by her dead fiance Eddie (cause of how she led him on all that time). Anyway I enjoyed the series in nearly every aspect. It was seriously close to "perfectly splendid". And I'm looking forward to hopefully a second installment 💯💯
Vikings: The Best Laid Plans (2020)
Ivar vs Bjorn
What happened in the battle was what each of them have concocted in their minds. There was plenty of signs pointed towards that. In my opinion this was greatly written. I personally cannot wait for 6B. Plus with Ubbe now in Iceland, and hearing the name Athelstan it hints that King Alfred (son of Athelstan) will play a role in what's to come.
Marco Polo (2014)
Wondering, How'd I miss this one?
Fantastic series! Despite only two seasons long, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to binge watch it. Interesting characters and plotlines and imo not a single dull moment. 💯💯
Black Is King (2020)
Worth watching!!
I thought there were a couple unnecessary scenes (degrading others), however overall the film traced back to 'The Lion King' and Mufasas wise advice well. Purely an artistic film. I was most drawn in by the amazing shots of scenery (of oceans, beaches, sandy hills, etc). 💯💯
Death Note (2017)
Why all the hate again?
I don't get the low average rating. The acting for the most part was believable and good. The introduction to the "Death Note" was well enough explained and overall plot was enough to keep interesting. Even though it's loosely adapted from the manga which I love, I'm going to stay hoping for a part two.
Extinction (2018)
Worth watching!!!
This Netflix movie didn't disappoint. It's very well written, has an interesting plot, and the acting's solid. I'm hoping that they make another one.
