Severance (2022)
Weird as heck
Some of the best retro futuristic stuff I've seen in a long while. Worth binging! You keep asking yourself these questions and next thing the different characters just answer all of them one after another as the series evolves.
My Perfect Romance (2018)
Worst acting ever
It feels like a Disney cartoon. I only gave it 3 stars because of the photography.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Adam Driver is the only good thing in here
I'd give him a 10 for his Kylo Ren. But the film itself is so forgettable I can't give it more than just a 4, and that's considering the weight of Adam's part in it.
Suicide Squad (2016)
I only watched this...
... because Joel Kinnaman is on it. He's superb, as usual. The rest is awful.
Altered Carbon (2018)
Amazing Kinnaman
This man is becoming one of my favourite actors. The tortured soul with a soft end... too bad th character will have a different sleeve next season. They should have kept Joel.
RoboCop (2014)
Joel is amazing...
... as Alex Murphy. Imagine the first film if Alex Murphy had been given the chance to live. Great emotional portrait. Very Joelistic...
Run All Night (2015)
Kinnaman
I only watched this because Joel Kinnaman is on it. That's all. No more to say about this awful action film.
Cloud Atlas (2012)
The worst part of this film...
... the tacky make up. They all look like cardboard marionettes. I mean, the story is stupid itself, but add to it the poor characterisation work and you have one of the worst films ever. And I haven't even mentioned Hugh Grant pretending to sound american or Tom Hanks "doing" cockney...
A Very English Scandal (2018)
Hugh Grant is HUGE!
He should have ditched all those rom com tricks so long ago and stuck to actual actoral work...
The Mountain Between Us (2017)
They saved each other's lives...
...in more than just the one obvious way.
That's all.
The Kid (2000)
Willis his usual witty fast paced self
Willis rules, as ever. The rest is silly blandness.

The British don't come out very nicely
So... The British don't come out very nicely out of this. Their intelligence unit is corrupt and the soldiers are portrayed as basically puppets in the hands of higher ranked... civilians... The scene where they finally go to try and extract the lost soldier is ridiculous, they don't do anything serious, they arrive late, their lieutenant is ridiculed and warned not to say anything about "what he thinks he saw" when he saw the intelligence guy trying to smother the hero of the film.. etc etc Great film in many aspects, I give it an 8, but really... all those people saying this is British propaganda and the Brits are pictured like heroes here... I don't know where on earth they come up with those conclusions from... not from seeing this film.
