The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (2018)
Wonderfully executed take on classic Nutcracker theme
Don't really understand the hate on this movie. Some of the reviews I've read make me question whether they actually watched this movie or not. Movie had a good pace. Sets and costumes were wonderfully done. Lots of homage to the old classic Nutcracker stories both stage and films. I thought the story line was fair considering this is an adaptation of antiquated theatrical symphony, which suffice to say would not fly today as a feature film. I enjoyed it and will probably end up making this a Holiday staple.
Young Guns (1988)
Great western!
Music, story, talent, and film. This is a great western action movie. Loved it when I was 11, loved it 29 years later.
Extinction (2018)

Good cast. Enjoyable story. Hard to say anything negative other than not an extraordinary or groundbreaking film. It's just good. Not bad. Not great.
The Son of Bigfoot (2017)
Great family movie
This movie is very good. The animation is excellent and the story is moral and honest. So many elements flow together to make a great coming of age tale. The fantastical spin on the old myth of Bigfoot entertained in to a modern backdrop is entertaining for both parents and kids.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)
Great popcorn flick
I usually need to watch a movie twice to form a valid opinion. After viewing this for the first time, I can say that I am looking forward to seeing this again...at home. The big screen is where this film shines though. Visually, this film is a 10! The story is very tried and true. I don't think that is a bad thing. I think this is aimed at a younger audience and for that, I can see where fans of Besson's other films are let down. As far as the adventure aspect goes, it does not let up. The plot had a good flow and there were some surprises a long the way. The cast was great and the two main characters had good chemistry albeit some of the dialogue was corny at times, they managed to pull it off somehow. Looking back, same thing occurred in the Fifth Element. Overall, I enjoyed this movie a lot. I would recommend shelling out the cash to see this on a big screen.
Bob's Burgers (2011)
Mr. Fischoeder
The simple fact that Kevin Kline is involved, should be enough for anyone to understand the caliber of this series. The entire cast playing the Belchers is spot on and only gets better with each episode. This show has a new and fresh vibe to it, but also has a certain familiar attribute; a family trying to do the best that they can with what they have and having a little fun along the way. A surprisingly exceptional character is found in Louise, played by Kristen Schaal. While all the characters have redeeming qualities of their own, Louise's character is in my opinion one of the most exuberantly funny. She is the comic relief more often than not. Each episode takes you on a new adventure, theme, idea, premise, etc.. Lots of variety keeps the show interesting. Overall- Outstanding series, but could use more of Regular Sized Rudy.
