Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Enjoyed it but...
I really like this film and I wasn't expecting to as it isn't my usual type to watch. Jamie Lee Curtis was excellent and looked like she was having fun.
I have never seen a film quite like it but I thought the end dragged on too long. Although I liked the film, I was getting impatient for it to end. Sounds weird but it could've ended a good 20 mins earlier than it did.
Overall, a great film and I would recommend it.
Dashcam (2021)
Won't be for everyone
I loved it. Main character is someone you won't like but I'm fine with that. A lot more gruesome than I was expecting. Kept me entertained and was done very well.
The Holden Girls: Mandy & Myrtle (2021)
Why the hate?
This is not a classic comedy but do you know what? Leigh Francis nails it. He"s brilliant. I am 44 and my gran was like that and all her friends. He nailed it. Kudos to Amanda. Brilliant. Hoping for a second season.
Calls (2021)
Very good
This was much better than I thought it would be. I get it's not for everyone but some of the reviews are just childish. Maybe stick to Marvel or Anime next time.
Staged (2020)
Brilliant
I stayed away from this for a while because I thought it would be boring. I was wrong. It's fantastic and both actors have great chemistry. Well done to all involved.
Kol (2020)
Loved it
I really liked this. I did think it was a bit slow to start at first but when it gets started...wow! Acting is great as well. There are a few plot holes for me but I don't care. I loved it anyway. Great story.
8ight After (2020)
Really bad
Don't believe the high ratings. I have watched many bad horrors in my time and this is by far the worst. I regret spending 1.99 on this. Bad acting and bad story. Avoid at all costs.
The Lie (2018)
Not a horror but who cares....
I liked this. Don't expect a horror because it's not. I was confused about the body but realise it was a dream sequence now. The low ratings are laughable because there's no way it deserves less than 5. Yes, the parents did stupid things but you don't know how you'd react in that scenario although I have to say, there's no way I'd forgive the daughter the way they did.
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Don't listen to the negative reviews
The people giving this 1 star are idiots. Honestly. What is it with people today, can you not just enjoy a good story or is it that you don't understand it? Does everything have to be action from the start to keep you entertained? I despair, I really do. You shouldn't be allowed near a TV, never mind reviewing something. Go back to The Fast and Furious franchise where you belong
The Hunt (2020)
Better than I though it would be
I expected not to like this but I loved it. I watched it next day as well. It's gory but has good humour and I laughed out loud a few times. Loved the lead actress as well.
Intelligence (2020)
Surprisingly funny
I didn't expect to like this but I did and I think David Schwimmer is really good in it. It will definitely appeal to British viewers more than American. I've had a few laugh out loud moments and I'd like a new series.
Dark (2017)
Superb
By far the best show on Netflix. The casting is brilliant as well. You do have to concentrate though. I will re-watch this show again and again. Brilliant.
Ghost Stories (2017)
Clever film
This was a very clever film. I'm guessing the reviewers who gave a bad review were too thick to understand it. This site is getting worse.
