Gypsy Blood (2012)
Worth a watch...
This film is an interesting look into a very small part of the Gypsy lifestyle, fighting! They have their traditions and they will fight for their honour till their death! They settle their disputes (most of the time) with a fair fist fight and no matter how much they dislike or despise their opponent, they always try to end the fight shaking hands. It also delves into the upbringing of some of their children and bringing them up to be fighters. Some of the scenes are quite squeamish, not the fighting scenes, the scenes where they show how they can live off the land and the capture, disembowelment and skinning of certain animals is a little graphic. Worth a watch if you're curious about the Gypsy scene.
Bottom (1991)
My all time favourite comedy!
I may be bias towards this show but I have great reason to be. Since being a kid I've grown up with this comic gem and no matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old or boring to me. Rik and Ade's chemistry and genius cannot be matched or replicated, this show is a one off in a lot of senses. Both of their over the top violence and scheming is just off the wall! Lol. It's the kind of show that can rerun scenes in your mind throughout the day and brighten up a dull one! A true one off, comic gem stamp, in English T.V. Comedy history! And of course, I totally recommend it :-) Also, if you watch this and like it, check out the live shows! They're more rude, crude and completely insane! :-P
Beavis and Butt-Head (1993)
You either love or hate Beavis and Butthead!
Most of the people I know (especially my mum) hate Beavis and Butthead and that's fine lol. They just don't see the funny side of this duo. I grew up watching Beavis and Butthead so it has a special place for me. Their dumbness is unmatched and the best part is they don't even realise it! Beavis and Butthead are a true, iconic, animated staple of the 90's and if you want stupid, immature, animated slapstick comedy, look no further.... He hee he cool!

Aliens (1986)
This bar was set to the max!
I've seen this movie before but I couldn't resist seeing this film at the cinema last night (09/02/15) for the flash back at the Printworks in Manchester. I was literally blown away!! A movie of this caliber will always stand the test of time and the evidence proves it. This showing at the cinema was sold out. It has everything you could want in a film, suspense, Action, drama, thriller and great acting! The effects are still brilliant and in my opinion are better than some of the flicks you see nowadays. I would recommend watching the directors cut as well because you get a better insight of the story and situation. This is more than just a film for me, this literally is a piece of art :-)
Step Brothers (2008)
The flick that got me into Will Ferrell!
I don't know what it was about Will Ferrell but I just couldn't get into his films but after watching this one it changed my opinion. I then watched his other films that I'd previously watched and didn't like and loved them!!!! Weird. He's now one of my favorite comedians, he's such a funny guy and very talented. Will and John do a great job of being a couple of 'man kids' who still live with their parents who all have to live together once their parents get married to each other. It's great watching the transition between Will and John when they start to like each other after hating each other, it reminded me of the beauty of the youthful mind. This whole film in my opinion is great, brilliant acting, funny and heartwarming. One of my favorite scenes is when Dale pops Derrick in the face in the tree house when Derrick eggs him on to do it! Lol If your after a light hearted movie with lots of of laughs, I would definitely recommend you give it a go :-)
The Goonies (1985)
Childhood treasure!
First off I have to say I loved the review by 'Susannahvwhite' brilliantly described and well put. This movie will always hold that special place in my heart and in my collection of films. The Goonies defined my childhood, watched it for he first time as a kid and immediately wanted to be a Goonie :-) It had the same impact as Indy did on me, gave me the lust for adventure and action! It has great directors, great producers and great actors who just fit the bill perfectly. It's hard to pick a favourite character because they're all good but the 2 that crack me up most times I watch it are the Fratelli brothers! Very funny bumbling idiots who get bullied by their mum lol. Overall this movie is an all time classic and will stay that way through the generations in my opinion. If you have never seen it, treat yourself to a gem, I hope you won't be disappointed :-)
