Children of the Corn: The Gathering (1996)
Great installment to the Children of the Corn series!
This is a very well done film indeed. It is very scary, and the plot is well done. It does differ in some ways from the first three films though. Unlike the first three there is not just one child leading them all. Most people don't realize this but "He Who Walks Behind The Rows" is actually one of the main characters in the film. It was revealed by director Greg Spence that a crucial deleted scene features two characters telling Naomi Watts that the children called Jociah by another name: "He Who Walks Behind The Rows". Once you realize this the film is more enjoyable to watch if you are a fan of the original Children of the corn movie.
Lord of the Flies (1990)
Ahhhh....my eyes!!
If you loved the book DO NOT watch this movie. It doesn't even deserve to have its title be Lord of the Flies! It rarely follows the plot of the book, and butchers every single one of the characters Personalities. They make it so Jack starts of as a bad boy who was sent to military school because he stole a car. One of the boys also complains because he is missing the show ALF. ALF wasn't on in 1954! There also is NO symbolism! They even make it so one of the adults is still alive during the first half of the movie.I'm sorry I watched this garbage! If William Golding was still alive he should sue who ever re-wrote this for destroying a masterpiece!
