Oppenheimer (2023)
Snore Fest.
The poster is better than the film. The excitement and anticipation of this film had me gripped for weeks with its stellar cast, a decent subject centered up Robert J Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb. What can possibly go wrong, I asked myself ?
Quite a lot, it seems. The film just doesn't gain any momentum throughout the entire thee hours duration. It's very hard going for the viewer, in my case I fell asleep twice and I have never fallen asleep during a film at the cinema before in the 59 years I've been on this earth.
Trust me, don't believe the hype is a clichΓ©d statement but in this case it's very much the truth.
Three hours of your life you will never get back.
You have been warned.
The Modern Way (2022)
Good grief.
Quite possibly the worst acting I've ever seen. So unconvincing that I looking for cue cards hidden in the scenes.
OK so the budget was Β£50,000 for the film and shot in 12 days but it doesn't excuse the level of acting and script that was written on the back of an empty cigarette packet.
For a so called gritty drama it passes itself off as comedy with consumate ease, or maybe the film was incorrectly categorised. This could have been a pretty good film but the very basics went missing a the opening credits and initial scene in the pub.
I could only watch through gapped fingers knowing this was going to be a complete miss in the first five minutes.
Apocalypse Pompeii (2014)

A film so bad it has to be seen, everything about this film is utterly terrible.
Quote dialogue: "Can it really get any worse ?" The answer to that question is; no it can't.
The Vanished (2020)
Vanished... I wish it would.
I can only feel absolute rage and hatred for this god awful pile of pure dreck.
The story line is amateurish at best, laughably bad at it's very worst.
A travesty of a film.
Away (2020)
Mission aborted.
Nothing credible. Terrible script. Ridiculous scenarios.
Mandy (2019)
Huh ?
I gave up after 10 minutes. If this is categorised as comedy then I'm the pope.
Kingdom (2014)
W0W !... and I mean W0W !
Compulsive viewing, absolutely mesmerising and never ever boring.
Can't recommend highly enough, a multitude of great story lines per character and truly realistic fight scenes.
Seriously blown away by this series !
The Last Days of American Crime (2020)
Dreadful.
Aborted viewing after half an hour, I think I percivered with it.
The Americans: START (2018)
I Don't Know What To Say
It will break your heart, no matter how strong you think it is.
Hunters (2020)
An insult to intelligence.
If I had the chance to ask Al Pacino one question it would be ; Why would you want to associate you're name with dross like this ?
Justified (2010)
Justfied for essential viewing !
W0W ! What fantastic series this is ! I stumbled upon it by pure accident on Amazon Prime. Excellent on every level. The story, script writing, great characters, production.. Everything !
This is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest, most exciting and binge-worthy series I've seen since Breaking Bad !
Absoute genius, brilliant.
Murder Mystery (2019)
ZZZZZZZ π΄
Apparently this is a comedy (?) Could have fooled me.
The Highwaymen (2019)
A Great Suprise.
A slow burn of a film but the characters pull the attention of the viewer. A true story ? The names remain the same for sure. I love a film that follows a true story, it doesn't matter if parts were made up for the story. Fact is Costner and Harellson are brilliant. A must watch.
Big Wednesday (1978)
An all time favourite.
I've been watching this film for years, it never fails. It's funny, sad, exciting and meaningful all at the same time. The casting is superb, great soundtrack and beautifully shot.
To me, this film is timeless.
An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn (2018)
Absolute Rubbish.

House of Cards: Chapter 73 (2018)
Huh ?π€
What the hell was all that about ? Totally shambolic finale to what once was truly excellent series.
Complete disaster.
A Few Less Men (2017)
BIG FAT ZERO
Watched 2 minutes of this only to quickly ascertain the fact that it's garbage of the crappiest degree.
The Package (2018)
1 star is overrating it.
Utter garbage, not remotely funny in the slightest. Will only appeal to 14 year old morons.
Insatiable (2018)
Funny As Hell.
If anyone finds this politically incorrect then you've led a sheltered life. Great characters ( Dallas Roberts is hilarious ), sexual innuendo and real laugh out loud moments.
Don't take negative reviews seriously, this is well worth watching, a great surprise.
