Donnie Darko (2001)
Easily one of the best films ever made
I have seen this film probably 50 times and almost everytime I watch it, I pour over it for about 2 weeks after.
I won't list all of the categories in a film where you judge the film by, the reason for that is at least for me is that the film is flawless.
I don't say that about many films either.
It has also aged so well and shows that's some things just never change but at the same time things aren't always what they seem.
I wish more people knew about this film as almost everyone I know hasn't seen it.
The end scene with Mad world in the back ground when the characters in the film are getting déjà vu from the tangent universe is easily one of the best scenes in any film.
This will always be one of my all time top 3 favourite films.
The Secrets She Keeps (2020)
Disturbing
Well, it kept me watching that's for sure but considered turning off half way through episode 5 as it made me feel sick.
I literally cannot wrap my head round how messed up some people are.
You have to feel kinda sorry for her but at the same time she is a monster created by other monsters.
It's pretty brutal.
It is good but I wouldn't watch it again.
Apart from that. The actors were great and the story is gripping.
I would recommend if you are not to sensitive to something that will lingure in your head.
I am deffo enjoying Happy Valley alot more.
Also Unforgotton is still the best BBC/ITV drama I have seen so far.
