The Titan (2018)
Don't waste your time
Okay, so you need two to populate a planet or moon. Started okay but two thirds in went haywire and stopped making any sense full stop. So much potential so much wasted talent. Don't bother you'll regret it.
The Watch (2020)
Why bother making it
If you're going to make a series based on a set of well established and well loved books, at least have the courtesy of keeping the characters right. BBC America a Politically correct version for the "me too" generation. Unfortunately they didn't get it and neither does anyone else. You managed to lose all of the fan base, which actually is worldwide and would have push your viewing figures up. A confused story with confusing timeline, characters that mean little to anyone. A disaster on a massive scale. Next time please try harder.
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (2015)
It's okay, just
I really enjoy stuff like this. I've read the book so was looking forward to something magical. Unfortunately it's not that good. No really it's not. The chi is excellent and the sets impressive but Eddie Marsen, no not for me. I don't think it's raised the bar on a tv show as must of the reviewers here have stated. The story is okay but very slow I can't find a character to care about and the story seems rushed. Sorry but it's not what I expected.
The Invisible Man (2020)
Don't miss this gem
Firstly I don't understand the amount of negative reviews on this film. If you liked Woman in Black you will like this film. It works on an emotional level as well as being suspenseful. A lower budget and lack of big names has suited Universal better than their last few " classic monster" outings. Don't let the bad reviews put you off, it's rare a film gives me the creeps and this was one of them.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
Takes a Sci Fi geek to appreciate a good story.
Firstly I'd like to say I've not seen series three yet. But I really enjoyed seasons one and two. It's well written with a good amount of emotional attachment. I was excited by the links to the original series and the way those stories linked together. It's not highbrow and it's not preachy. It's just space opera at its best. Ignore the negative reviews and give it a chance, you might be surprised.
