Seriously .... this movie needed a completely different script, a physics consultant and CGI from this century.

Acting is good, writing is not. Unrealistic that a team GOING TO MARS would be at each others throats less than 24 hours into the mission and be that dysfunctional.

My bigger pet peeve is the "can the emotional woman still be a leader" trope. Ugh hollwood, its the year of our lord 2020 .... move forward.

30 mins in and the entire script is focused on her needing validation both academically and romantically - have we not gotten past these tropes yet?

This was one of the best things I watched over COVID lockdown. The setting/cinematography is amazing. The story was unpredictable which was great. The characters were so well developed. If you dont like gore, I would avoid. It's not the point of the show but there are a few gruesome scenes.

Watched with my 12yo and went in thinking I would rather put toothpicks in my eyeballs, BUT it was actually good. And I appreciated the care they took with issues of consent for a teen show.

Basic police procedural but with technology twists. Watched during COVID lockdown, got thru 103 episodes in about 3 weeks. Had relevant themes of AI and data privacy tradeoffs.

I'm not sure what to even compare this to, but OMG this was excellent TV
