The tension & psychological build-up ( or, rather, tearing-down) of the main character was perfect.
Showed just the right amount of realism in regard to, for example, the convenience store dude giving him a job, but the white folks 'helping him' being the real poison to his 'American Dream'.
What I really wanted to have an issue with was the whole 'cuck' thing...people throw the word around like its an insult used to describe a weak male... when in reality, the 'cuck' relationship of the woman & the tattooed dude was the true definition of cucking in the first place. The fact that they used society's perception of 'the weak cuck' to do exploitation films, etc was a real fun psychological kicker too... the main character was always playing the 'weak cuck' role.....and in fact, the 'real cuck', the tattooed man, was never in a position of weakness at all. Real nice touch.
I also enjoyed that it showed the marketing & sales side of these online figureheads, with the mustache-guy character... how easily he flipped a narrative at the end, how follows & likes can spawn new networking opportunities to exploit...super realistic.
Overall, it was a hauntingly realistic, sad & disturbing narrative of a lot of folks today.
