Bewitched (2005)
I liked this movie
I roll my eyes at all the would be Siskals and Eberts out there. These pessimists went in to watch the movie expecting it to be awful, it would seem.
Someone made mention to Isabel as being too naive and innocent. She spent her whole life snapping her fingers (or wiggling an ear) to get what she wanted. What do you expect? I think that someone who never lifted a finger to do anything herself would be naive as to how things work for mere mortals.
For those who want to criticize all its imperfections, chill out, sit back, and relax! Take this movie for what it was meant to be. A light-hearted, fun comedy.
Personally, I loved the message: revenge doesn't solve a thing. And Nicole Kidman was adorable as Isabel.
If you're the critical type, don't bother watching. If you can take this movie for what it is, you'll love it.
Cyberchase (2002)
Great Show
This show is wonderful for helping children first through third grade with basic math and reasoning skills. My 6 year old has improved in math from watching this show. She has learned concepts from the show before she learned about them in school. I believed it has helped her with fractions more than anything else.
I wouldn't recommend this show to ages above third grade as the math concepts explained are generally very basic. The target audience would seem to be first through third grades, maybe even some fourth graders as well.
This show is a great supplement for reinforcing mathematical concepts learned in school.
