Air Fortress (1989 Video Game)
7/10
Challenging but not impossible old-school NES game
8 April 2020
I remember playing this game in grade school and it was a fun and addicting experience. Each mission consists of navigating through these outer space fortresses and making it out alive before they blow up. I recall getting very sweaty palms because the screen would vibrate slowly and gain intensity as the time limit nears its end. Each fortress increases in size and complexity as you progress through the game. Lots of trial and error in the beginning but as you replay the game over and over you can become an expert and not mind going through it again and again. TONS OF FUN!!!

Don't Get Bitten By This One

Awesome Title. Crappy Movie. As a matter of fact the 1 star given is for the title itself. And that's it. Stick to just looking at the cover art of the movie and actually verbalizing the title "NINJA.....ZOMBIES" with a dramatic and enthusiastic voice complete with Shatnerian pause. That way you can actually have at least 30 seconds of honest fun. Just don't hit the play button. Save your time.

Another Waste...Of Several Things

The once promising Tom Sizemore looks like he's suicidal on the cover art of the DVD and within the movie he looks very distracted. Like he's not completely focused on the task at hand. That being concentrating on delivering a performance. He should have taken lessons from B actors like Bela Lugosi and Jack Palance (Without Warning, 1980). Even if an actor knows he's participating in a piece of garbage he should at least not sink to their level.

Sad State Of Affairs

Eric Roberts long ago was filed under the "will do anything for a paycheck" status but BURT REYNOLDS!? This film will severely depress any longtime fan of his as this was one of his last appearances in the film industry. Not dignified at all. Avoid it.

A Betrayal To The General Movie Public
31 December 2019
Malcolm McDowell once said that he felt betrayed in reference to this film. For those who aren't aware, a separate film crew filmed overnight orgy scenes depicting graphic sex best suited for a porn flick. Those scenes had no business being in that film and A-list English actors Malcolm McDowell, Helen Mirren, John Gielgud and Peter O'Toole would never have agreed to participate if they knew what was going to happen. Besides those trashy scenes, which warrant the fast forward button, the film just isn't good at all. Malcolm McDowell does show a strong effort in his performance, but that is not enough to save it. Waste of time unless you are a die-hard fan of those 4 actors. If so, then have your fast forward button at the ready....and put the women and children to bed first!!!

People Whine Too Much
31 December 2019
First of all, If you happen to be a father like myself, I recommend seeing this film at least once. Second of all, there has been a lot of whining and complaining about plot holes by people who don't realize that these plot holes are by design. This franchise will probably NEVER end. There is too much money to be made here. Some people just don't know how to enjoy movies or just want to pick apart movies just to project false intellectualism. My main gripe about this film is that it has caused trolls to make too much noise about it, therefore, irritating me. I gave this film a 6 because it is more than halfway decent and this film DOES out-perform the two previous installments. Despite the movie's flaws, the question remains: Will the average film-goer find this movie entertaining? The answer is YES. And be thankful the movie is condensed below the 3 hour mark!!! I did. I am willing to sacrifice extra minutes of dialogue and plot hole fillers just so I don't have to hold my urine anymore than I have to.
