Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Season 1, Episode 10
5/10
Better than the last finale but still kind of unsatisfying.
11 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The first half of this episode is fine, but it moves very slowly and then going into the second half things ramp up so quick and rush quickly to an ending that was so contrived.

I don't mind Dexter being killed by Harrison rather than facing the death sentence but here the writers did not earn this ending it was forced and just unsatisfying.

Also they bring in Batista and tease a Miami metro reunion and then nothing, he doesn't even appear again.

This season was so strong and the previous episode (episode 9) felt more like a satisfying finale to me.

Another great character and show ruined and added to the long list of terrible endings.

Just wow that's all I have to say really. Quite possibly the best episode of the show! Well done Dave Filoni and Disney.

Also make sure to stick around after the credits.👀

I find season 8 bearable and there are some standouts but this episode is truly the worst episode of the entire series.

I love season 7, I like and enjoy season 8 and season 9 despite its flaws, but this episode...is really awful. Will Farrell is terrible in this show!

I'm gonna admit this was a great episode but doing Joe Proctor like that was just dumb, after all his development just to kill him off, as a proctor fan I'm obviously annoyed.

Mixed feelings about this episode!

So first of all, season 2 was a blast it has been its same funny charming self just like season 1 was. This final episode was amazing too up until the end.. what were the writers thinking?! As a massive shipper of Otis and Maeve obviously I'm gonna be upset, but 2 finales in a row where some coincidental event happens to keep them apart more makes me sad. Hopefully we get some payoff in s3 for that storyline. Also how amazing was that scene between Eric and Adam!!!!!!!!

I'm really glad Netflix did this, I think that there was weight behind doing this movie and it was a good ending to Jesse's story, I personally think that there won't be anymore story for Jesse Pinkman, but if Netflix wanna do more movies in the 'breaking bad' universe it wouldn't surprise me.

My favourite part of the movie was the Walter and Jesse flashback, it was a really wholesome scene between the two that had a lot of weight and meaning, which ultimately tells us that Jesse has still got his whole life ahead of him, and he'll probably get to enjoy it now.

Thank you to Netflix, Vince Gilligan and the creative team behind this movie, Breaking bad and Better call Saul, for giving the fans a really nice closure to this character.

I didn't even watch the last 2 episodes because of how trash this season was. I skipped to this because I'd heard about the ending and it was an absolute joke. I'm done with this show. This show gives the whole twd franchises a bad look. CANCEL THIS SHOW PLEASE. It's so bad I really hope Morgan is gonna get taken the same way rick did and this is how he enters the rick movies, if this happens I'll up my review to a 2 stars

Just rewatched this 2 months after it was on. And I hate it 10 times more This is an utter disgrace and insult to EVERY FAN OF THIS SHOW! All the actors were 10/10 amazing performances. Dumb and dumber aka dan and dave ruined this show. Why did they rush this? The answer is so the could move on to a dead franchise that no one cares about anymore.

Cringe, far fetched and unrealistic but addicting!
26 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So I'm a little late to watching this. I heard about it when it first aired but refused to watch as I wasn't interested in high school murder mysteries. But I must say I checked out the first episode and thought it was okay. And now ive just started the 3rd season. This show can have really cringy dialogue and stupidly smart teenagers who talk like adults and all have really good singing voices. But it's still very addicting. To the people who are put off by the negative reviews telling you to steer clear ignore them. This show is still fun to watch and it's one of them shows that you don't really have to take very seriously. The characters are all attractive likeable teenagers, and the adult characters are cool too. I think Season 2 is the best season, and season 3 the worst but they all have enjoyable episodes and moments

I liked that ending. Only thing I didn't like is how spike and anya's deaths were kinda brushed off as if they were nothing. Still a pretty good end to this amazing show. I really liked the way it ended with the whole town of Sunnydale being destroyed. So I'm not sure if I want to read the comics as I feel I don't need to. Was better than season 6 and 4's season finale which was great. 9/10

Full Season Review: WOW!!
5 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is my spoiler review for season 3 of stranger things. First thing I wanna say is, this was hands down so much better than season 2, although many people believe they just reused the story from season 2, that was not the case. The introduction of the Russians was a really cool new aspect of the show, it provided a look into what's going on outside of Hawkins.

The two standout performances of this season for me were Millie Bobby Brown as El, and Dacre Montgomery as Billy. Every scene they were in was just amazing, although The mind flayer was possessing Billy all season, it also brought to life the backstory of billy and humanised him, and when he saves el at the end, your wishing that he will live.

This season also was a big season for Eleven as she has developed more as a human being with new relationships, her dialogue, and her fashion. Every fight scene she was in she absolutely blew me away with the acting.

The Russian assassin was a really cool villain with the whole terminator vibe, chasing after Hoppers crew.

The new monster was really interesting aswell, especially when I realised it had taken on the same shape as the mind flayer, I don't think it was the scariest monster, as I think the demogorgon will always be the scariest for me.

David Harbour as Hopper was great as always and I am very sad about his ending, but I'm also holding out hope that maybe just maybe he could be still out there but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

As for the ending I'm not sure how things are gonna go forward with the kids split up again. This time Will and El moving away with Joyce. And as for the end credit scene, all I can really say is that the 'American' prisoner has to be either Hopper or Brenner. I feel like that has to mean something. And the demogorgon reveal obviously means the Russians have got access to the upside down now and are gonna be able to weaponise it. I'm still left with many questions. But the main one is, is the Mind Flayer dead now? Or is he still lingering in the upside down?

I give this season a 9.5/10

Season one is still the best season, but season 3 is my second favourite and although season 2 had a great story and great moments I just prefer the mystery and side stories more in s3

Warning: Spoilers
Worst episode of game of thrones hands down the death of rhageal was so quick and brushed over like it was nothing, A cheap plot device to even the playing field against Cersei. Jaime leaving to go back to Cersei was a bit silly, just for the sake of paying off a statement a few seasons ago when he said he wants to die in the arms of who he loves. The ending was just awful. This is worse than the finale for me.

Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely loved every minute of this episode right up until the end. But still giving it a 10/10 because the cinematography, acting, and the cgi was amazing, but the plot of the night king and the army of the dead was mediocre at best.

Still a fun episode though, cAnnot wait to see what else is gonna go down in the next 3 weeks with cersei!

A good episode to wrap up an amazing season!
1 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is a great finale episode, (not as good as 9x15) but a good end to an amazing season and in my opinion the best season yet! Great character development and dialogue. It's great that Negan is finally getting his redemption arc, with a great scene rescuing Judith and a nice conversation with michonne. Also Lydia is accepted by carol which obviously meant a lot to her as you see her laughing and having fun with the others at the end. Alpha asks beta to beat her with the tree branch to get stronger. The fact we got snow finally was awesome and the frozen ice walkers were great. Cannot wait to see what's in store for season 10 and get more Ryan hurst as beta and Samantha Morton as alpha!

I give this one a 8.5/10

Warning: Spoilers
What an amazing episode. Lots of great character interaction and dialogue, and of course the first look at the whisperers.

We all New they were coming but I did not expect that at all, they are not messing around, it's a shame Jesus has to pay because his character survives this moment in the comics, but Jesus was underused in the show and a waste of poetential, well done gimple!

But overall a great episode and setup for the second half which will be so good, can't wait to see Ryan Hurst as Beta too!

9.5/10 for this one!
