Cop Out (2010)
Dull, Boring and Nonsense
This movie is about two policemen that try to solve a case, and they are supposed to be funny, a threadbare theme that we've seen many times, and in this case, the humour is pathetic.
Bruce Willis (what is he doing here, he must be ashamed) has a partnership with Tracy Morgan (there is no chemistry between them), and here we have a problem: Morgan always tries to be funny, but all he can do is to shout or be exaggerated in almost all scenes, or can be even worst when he talks about his feces for minutes (nobody deserves it!!).
The script is weak and forced, the protagonists are ludicrous, and even the music can't help that much.
So, the best thing to do about this movie is forget it and do not lose your precious time with such crap.
AWOL-72 (2015)
This Movie is Totally Lame
For God's Sake !! Another above average movie about terrorists, where is the creativity of movie makers? I even don't know why I lose my time watching this movie. In fact, I didn't watch it all, but what I see was enough... The movie is absolutely predictable, the good guy has some problems, but at the end he (presumably, i did not see) overcomes all of of them. It is an action movie, with the typical more of the same approach. Perhaps the best quality of the movie is that it is short, the suffering is not so prolonged. So here am I losing more time with it. Simply said, this movie belongs to the category "avoid like the plague"
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
An Absolute Masterpiece That Changed the Cinema Forever
In thirties there was some short animations, and so Walt Disney decided to make a full-length movie, and many people thought he was going crazy, that nobody will stand this, and so on. After more than four years of hard work for him and his team, and more than a million dollars spent, the movie was ready in December 1937, and the result was amazing. With an impressive and creative work from the designers, the characters come alive in a captivating way, and the public was mesmerized with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The audience was thrilled, many come to tears after Snow White ate the the poisoned apple, and the success was so astonishing that the movie became one of the most watched movies in history, and it still continues to captivate millions of people around the world. This was Walt Disney's cornerstone, all that he made after was based on this unique movie, and because of it he was one of the few persons in the world able to fulfill the most of his dreams. And the cinema changed forever, it showed us that the public was ready to embrace the wonderland.
Animal Farm (1999)
Not as good as Orwells's masterpiece but still an enjoyable movie. Only the ending was too bad...
Regarded as one of the best books of 20th century, Animal Farm is a funny fable about some animals that, inspired by an old and wise pig, decide to banish the men and take control of the farm where they live. The story is clearly linked to Russian Revolution and we can see that some of pigs represent the leaders of the revolution, as Major represents Lenin, Snowball represents Trotsky and Napoleon represents Stalin. After they take control of the farm, the animals state 10 commandments that must be followed by every one. In the beginning all seems good, but later Napoleon takes the leadership and some strange things start to happen. The movie does good in showing many aspects of the book, with good effects and funny moments. My only complain is the very ending, that is different from the book and very disappointing...
Sacrifice (2011)
A typical movie with "more of the same"
This movie tackles the theme of cops against drug dealers, a theme that has been seen hundred times a year in movies, and I don't think this movie made any significant contribution to this worn out subject. The cops are always good, but have their problems, and the drug dealers are always bad guys who must be brought to death, before they ruin the whole world. We really don't care so much about the characters in the movie, it is like we already know what will happen to them, because the story line is very predictable. I've seen another better movies about it, and I think this is a very cliché movie without any reward to the viewer, a mere pastime, but there are better ways to waste your time. I recommend it only to the big fans of this threadbare genre...
