Hidden Masterpiece

I have never heard of this movie before finding it by accident on IMDb, and i thought it would be a very good story, and it is so much more, its almost a documentary, this movie captures extremely well the hardships of those who are born in the favelas and have little to none chance of having a future. It shows poverty not in a condescending way,but in a human way as people who have dreams ,nightmares, people who make good and bad decisions as anyone else, but the consequences in this harsh environment are much different. Brilliant movie.

The movie itself is sort of in parts,it tells roughly the same story

or better , the same direction that life leads you,but from different points of views, and each person has different reactions and actions. Its based on real stories, and i guess thats why its so compelling and real.

Good Movie for its purpose

I started watching without any expectations and soon realized it was a very "simple" and slow movie but its very compelling because of the characters, its a beautiful story about a bond between siblings the whole movie revolves around a brother and a sister left to survive on their own,in essence its really about hope, trust, family in a very simple background

If you are thinking whether you should watch or not The Movie doesn't have all that many dialogues, most of the story you have to intepretate yourself (its not hard) if you go into the movie without great expectations and just looking for a nice movie about siblings you should not regret this one.
