Better than you would think
19 July 2023
Friends advised me to watch the series, the murder mystery theme sort of peaked my interest. On a rainy weekend I binged watched it. The first episode is good but the series gets better and better with lots of laughs, but the great part of this series is the great chemistry of friendship and bonds that shines threw the camp and humor. This is worth the watch with more episodes hopefully to be made. There's a bit of everything , it's a fun series nothing heavy but light and entertaining They should continue with more episodes and adventures for these friends. Viewers love thse cast of great characters.

Fantastic story
15 May 2023
Based on the events of Father Gabrielle Amorth, the story was very well done. Russell Crowe, one of the finest actors is incredible in the role. If your looking for Hollywood horror gore this isn't the movie. This carries more suspense then horror gore but more focused on the story and great acting. The lines , script were given great detail and delivery. Nothing campy about this movie but well worth it. Now hopefully there were be sequels as fans of the movie would most likely want to know more about Father Amorth and the challenges he faced. As for the set designed, was perfect they put a lot of effort into this movie and it paid off.

Good until the end
12 May 2023
This was a interesting story. The cast was amazing, incredibly talented that really gets the viewers interested in the main character and those she come across , through the whole story of her plots and cool calm approach, she becomes the viewers hero. Everything flips towards the end of the movie and it wraps up rather final but just not what expected one of those after all that but poetic justice in the end. The ending could have been written better, all good until the trip. Worth watching definitely moves quickly it's a fast pace movie great lines. . Alfred Molina has a great scene and it's touching.

One those great shows like Midsomer Murders.you can't stop watching, addictive for the binge watcher. The cast is greatly talented and the characters are just perfectly written. This is a great show and beautiful filmed and just keeps the viewers interested. The opening pilot was pulls you in, snow winter settings are always perfect settings for murder mysteries. This show has many talented actors that bring the characters to life in a sleepy town. I truly love this show it's about time Native Indian are recognized and respected. I hope the show will continue as long as Midsomer Murders has,. Good ideas bring good shows to life.

Great concept,death by studio politics
27 February 2023
This has a great reboot. Roselyn Sanchez was absolutely brilliant and perfect for the series to continue, it was such a great tribute to the original. However studio political correctness nonsense killed this show, demographics female gnez and millianials,. Most of the story lines were female leads or all female story lines, cast was more focused toward woman, there was a lack of balance but the stories were very Hallmark vibe. It had a great opportunity but blame the studios for trying to to push every political stereotype it strangled the shows success. Every episode was focused on bland story lines. Roselyn Sanchez saved the show as the lead absolutely kept a sinking ship alive. It needed more suspense or and balance of characters. Some long time actors appeared as guest but not enough to really let the show take off. Studio was doing everything to be political accepted by viewers it just sank it.

The Legacy (1978)

The Legacy.a 70's a classic movie and star casting
15 August 2020
The Legacy was based on a popular book back in 1978, it is a thriller horror movie with a celebrity cast of Sam Elliot, Katherine Ross and Roger Daltrey lead singer for the Who. Since this is film isn't pulling high special effects, 1978, its a good horror film, I am sure if it was remade today and followed the book it would be be right up there with the Ghost Story and The Shining . Basically, it's a pack made and its time to pay up, only one will succeed to carry on the legacy but who, watch the movie and see, Again, do not expect high special effects, This is a classic movie that falls in with Burnt Offerings with Karen Black, The Hearse, Ghost Story and the Changeling with George C Scott

Sam Elliott and Kathrine Ross are perfect together, chemistry and it is this film that they actually met and married shortly after

It is a good horror movie to add to your 70's horror movie collection

Dreadful, Insulting to the Charles Dickens
20 December 2019
After seeing the promos for this adaptation of a Christmas Carol, I sat back and watched it, as it aired during family time, I recorded it and changed the channel. Not for smaller tots. A Christmas Carol does not need profanity nor brief nudity, It is by far the worse adaptation. Scrooged, Ebbie and A Diva's Christmas Carol are 200% better than this poor adaptation. The cast is talented, but the writers are clueless, neither the writers or the director read the original story written by Charles Dickens. Chopped the story and sensationalized on darker which if you want a dark version that is proper, watch A Christmas Carol with George C Scott. This adaption is a waste and insult to the classic

One of those shows that pulls you in
12 December 2019
One of those shows that pulls you into all the characters. The scenery is breath taking with every episode. The great and talented cast pulls into the characters with out giving to much of the story lines away. It's binge worthy so ready for the next season

Delightful campy clever relaxer
31 January 2019
The cast of talented actors make this lighthearted show binge worthy, not to miss an episode the delightful characters are campy with clever witty lines. This is not a edge of your seat or high drama with special effects. IF your looking for a show to just rest upon, sink into with ease after a long day. Just a good light hearted show, while the story plots are not heavy, it is the lives of the main characters the viewer enjoys more and more.

This is a great show to escape the drama of a long work day, the dread of the daily news and noise of traffic Father Brown is one of the special shows with beloved characters and the trouble the come upon. Pure comfort food show for the heart and soul that will leave you with a warm smile after every episode

A Ghost Story not a Gore Story
19 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
If you expect Crimson Peak to be a gore fest or some ghetto trailer guts movie of Rob Zombie. Crimson Peak is not gore it is not slasher or guts exploding on the screen. It is a period piece dating into the 1800's a ghost story that is bound to be a classic. If you enjoyed the movie Peter Straub's Ghost Story and other ghost story movies such as The Lady in White you will enjoy this movie. It is a thriller with suspense. Since this is a period piece the main character typical of how women carried themselves in that era yes its a bit predictable towards the end but it is no surprise in any thriller as it wraps up. the special effects are creative and the story line captures the viewers interest as everything unravels. The sets in Crimson peak are beautiful with detail, along with beautiful costumes threw out the movie. If you like a classic ghost story that is a thriller then its worth seeing for during the Halloween season.
