Chris-Chan is the exact polar opposite of Life, Animated's Owen Suskind: instead of using Disney films to communicate with the world and overcoming obstacles, CWC uses Pokémon, Sonic and other media just to get laid with a "boyfriend-free girl". Even as an autistic myself, he is the worst example.

Too Cute!
(2011– )
:D
25 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Pros: I won't ever get tired of cuteness as a pet lover myself from kitties and puppies finding loving owners at the end of each episode to mischief galore and even the gentle narration full of pet puns.
Cons: If I have one complaint, its using stock sound effects over actual pet sounds (but then again they're meant to be cute).
Imagine That is Not There-This Anti-Disney Mediocrity
25 January 2019
Pros: I'm glad as a Disney fan that he panned this movie and all of its' "flaws" (aka found it to be just another pity excuse to film at Disney theme parks as to "expose" the "evil" side of House of Mouse) to put it mildly ;);
Cons: The film and anti-Disney themselves

A Condensed Version of Mark Cousins' "Story of Film"
25 January 2019
Pros: Glad to see experimental films that haven't been seen in a while alongside the usual international fare; saw Chuck's previous works (Precious Images & The Source); understood the "outside the mainstream" perspective
Cons: I'm not as militant on cinema as some on this doc

"You're Supposed to Support Me"
19 November 2018
Pros: The guys at Forbes were the good guys
Cons: I'm one of those guys that was glad Sarsgaard wasn't nominated for Best Supporting Actor; very low-key film (even the jokes were flat); never liked Stephen Glass as a journalist; one line perfectly described this: "political, humorless and pissy".

As an autistic jazz fan
25 September 2018
Pros: The entire soundtrack, the director's commentary, Emma's Oscar-winning role, John Legend being a voice of reason, didn't think Ryan's voice was that terrible (reminded me of Chet Baker), glad I gave it a second chance
Cons: The only thing that bugged me was Seb's snobiness (even when I first saw the film)

It's Safe to Say Books Are Here to Stay Even in the "Evil" Digital Times
12 June 2018
Pros: Glad I watched it
Cons: When I see the buildings airing news, the one thing in mind is Blade Runner; reviews were more entertaining to read; obviously I haven't read the book or saw all of Truffaut's 1966 adaptation but I did managed to read the summary on a Cliff's Notes (call me a heretic if you must, I just prefer non-fiction); the scene from Matilda with the family watching a crappy game show made more sense than this.

This Is Cinema?
12 May 2018
Pros: The show itself; Kyle as host, accessibly smart; theme song for Rimsky-Korsakov fan; favorite episode is "Koyaanisquatsi" and as for the old BHH Roberto's "Pinocchio" ; good old cinematic exposure therapy (the show for reviewing films with lots of sex and violence as pity excuses for art (Lars von Trier being the worst example)
Cons: Recently watched old episodes that haven't been uploaded (some for good reasons)
