The show or series seems to be confused on may fronts. It wants to be cutting edge etc yet gets so much wrong with the "tech" and script kiddie main char. It's written as if she is smarter then everyone else yet anyone with some basic knowledge on the things in the show would know how off it is. Pretending these rich folks do or even care for things other then their value number and the size is just getting old. I fail to see the interest people have in watching fake stories about the ultra rich. How does any of this provide value to anyone? I do enjoy and understand the murder mystery shows and this hopefully gets around to that with as little "extra" make believe junk thrown in. While 2 episodes released as of writing this makes this rating a whole lot of nothing. Most is to just fill the character limit and to express the displeasure in the horrible references to tech and hackers.

While I dont mind biting my tongue at times when it is so difficult to buy and believe but the lack of imagination and poor writing in the first episode is hard to let go. The actors try their best with the material given. The fight scenes are like high school shadowboxing presented as real fighting. It is good for some laughs as the fight scenes are so bad. The cgi can only carry a story so much. With disney clearly only caring for their bottom line and pumping out these star wars shows, to make sure they get every last penny out of buying the asset, the quality clearly starts to lack in every aspect.

So much cringe I could barely watch the first two hoping it would get better... I fail to see who their core audience is. It's just soo cringe all most the entire show.. I don't mind suspending belief in science or reality at all but this show somehow wants even more from it's viewers. I feel bad for the cast as they seem to have been put into this situation by the writers and production team. Even the puzzles seem to have very little imagination. The puzzle box was laughable when some how she came up with it on the bus.. That part was almost too much to bear.

For the amount of money spent to make this it is pretty sad they didn't spend very much on the writing or director. Someone who might have had a chance to save the show. Instead we get this pretty sad show.. very disappointed.

Who lives like this? Given everything.. crying about trying soo hard yet hasnt done anything hard in her life besides school work and social drama. While ALL that can be hard it fails in comparison to kids who are homeless or struggling to find meals and the actual percentage of people growing up not in this fantasy world is so much more. Why would any one relate to this ? I know this reivew is lacking in all regards in to the actual quality of story telling etc.. they could have chosen material with people the majority can relate to.. having just the mental health or drug issue being the thing people relate to is a cop out. Sorry hard pass for me.

Really seems to be no in between in the old wb network. This could have been pretty good but sadly id have to agree with many of the other reviews here.

The movie has a completely different ending in china. How sad for them to bow to the ccp. I do not support this and will not. What next? Does the studio have a ccp official department like every company is required in china? The fact that they are more then willing to censor art for the ccp is a disgrace.

At least say it right.. i know i know most people hate geoff's and hate gif thats said correctly.

Beyond that horrible mistake in episode 2 the shows writing has a lot to be desired. Trying so hard to be zoomer funny. As another reviewer said swing n a miss which is right on with this one. Throw it on ur streaming network so no one will have to watch more then a few minutes.

Trying way to hard. Typical fantasy land story. Why do they always cheap out on writing. Sad that this garbage never ends and yet people put up with it cause its better then nothing.

This movie is one that is almost to good to be true. The comedy is gold. Even if they did not intend this to be funny, it sure was. really enjoyed it.

The irony if the show is almost comical yet they actually believe.

pretentious elites at their best. enjoy if you mistakenly assume they are including you.

I question what they were thinking when making the pilot episode so boring. It comes across as being made only to be pitched to CW. With such lackluster acting and unimaginative writings and sets. They clearly are just using the popularity of the subject matter along with fake teen drama to make a buck off those who lack any knowledge of what is a good series. When all you targeted towards your "group" is this kinda garbage how would you.

In the end what one should take away from this is how ignorant the makers of this series think we all are. Dont just settle for anything is better then nothing.

While a good crime fugitive drama is great every once in a while this one was off the mark. The poor writing and editing in tv and movies needs to stop. It is not that hard to make it even some what believable. It is not unheard of for police to be shot and people to run from prosecution. I for one do not understand how one can be so lazy. I would assume if you are in the business of making these things it is a life long dream to be working in that field. But is it laziness or the lack of respect for the audience? Why put any real effort into it if the audience is just closed minded stupid people who will believe anything? It is hard to tell sometimes. I really hope its not for the lack of respect for the audience. Although it surely feels that is what is happening in modern entertainment media. Or maybe I am the one making the poor choices to begin with and there isn't an ever expanding selection of garbage media to choose from. Like everything its somewhere in the middle I suppose. I would not watch this movie again nor tell a friend to.

Scifi channel has reached new lows. Canceling great sci fi sagas and picking up crap like this. Now this isnt the worst show in the world but it doesnt belong on scifi channel's main line up. If this all they can do to get ratings fine but go ahead and change the channels theme already. Sony is only in it for the money and scifi isnt bringing it in fast enough for them. So we get this coming of age crap with a splash of what they think is comic book styles. The show isnt terrible but it is not scifi. It truly is sad to see what has become of scifi channel. If the people who run the company now did so over a decade ago we wouldnt have had great shows like bsg or sg1(beyond the first season of sg1).
