Halo: Solace (2022)
Season 1, Episode 6
No Madrigal... Show quality goes up
28 April 2022
At this point, I'd take out that whole storyline. This show doesn't need it. We all came to watch MASTER CHIEF, not Kwan and cowboy bebop.

Dope episode. Drives the plot and paces it along. I've always liked this show from the premiere. At the very least you can tell it's well produced and the cgi is up to par, especially as a sci-fi show. No need to rush it. There's plenty of material to use and explore in the halo universe.

Young Justice (2010–2023)
Yeah this ain't it chief
15 April 2022
This show has gone from a 9 to an 8 and now to a 7. The writing is so bad and inconsistent. I can barely follow the story in S4 as it just keeps jumping from arc to arc, which is either hit or miss. The 1st two seasons were so good that it made stubborn DC fans accept this new superhero team rather than the familiar original justice league members. But now, it's so bad that I'm contemplating to stop watching it

S3 problem: New focus put on boring randoms. Outsiders were okay but it's stupid making them half the focus of S3. The brion and halo squad are so goddamn boring that it was atrocious making them the other half of the focus of S3. Wasting screen time focusing on a bunch of randoms with the most basic character development

S4 problem: Random arcs with barely any connected stories. They try to connect them but it just leaves the audience more confused. Random events and the main focus of the season isn't zoned in on enough. Almost 20 episodes in and I'm so confused.

Again, why are they still developing Halo's personality in S4? Like no one cares. PC or no PC, she's just plain boring. Forager is designed to be a side character for an arc and they make him a main character in S3. Like why? This is so bad.

Halo (2022– )
It is really not that bad
7 April 2022
It's not some masterpiece, but I'm enjoying it. It's a low 8 so far and I think that's fair. It has a decent plot and the master chief actor is doing a really awesome job portraying, well, master chief. I really love this new portrayal. This show is actually showing a more human side of masterchief than the video games (with maybe the exception of the cortana stories).

It's a decent show, especially for a sci fi show. The cgi is decent. Acting is eh. But story seems promising. My only issues with the show is the supporting characters. They need to step up and stop being so meh. I like Cortana so far so maybe she can help with this dilemma

Video game expectations needs to be dumped to enjoy this show for what it is. Too much negative bias reviews and it's somewhat toxic. I'll keep watching and hope for the best.

Peaky Blinders: Sapphire (2022)
Season 6, Episode 4
Okay episode
21 March 2022
I think this was the worst episode in a meh season. It's so meh and lacks a lot of Peaky Blinders spirit that made the show popular among its fans. Tommy doesn't have to be happy and badass all the time but there's way too much introspective and melodramatic scenes. Like we get it. Tommy is depressed and Arthur is an addict. Can we move on to the plot?

The actual plot is taking a backseat to these soap opera scenes. 2 episodes left and most audiences don't even know the goal of this season. Is it the Boston business? Facism? Or Tommy vs Micheal part 2? A lot of plot devices used in a really good season 5 seems to be thrown out the window in season 6. Now they're hinting on a Nazi Germany episode that seems to be happening way too late into the season

And let's not forget the elephant in the room. Where is Finn???

Peaky Blinders: Gold (2022)
Season 6, Episode 3
Damn this season has been depressing
14 March 2022
The first episode teased the traditional peaky blinders "start-of-new-business". But it's become depressing ever since. It really does feel like the end of Peaky Blinders.

You can tell that Tommy Shelby has reached his breaking point. Everything he's done has been for his family and he's losing them every step of the way. Cillian is acting really well to convey this grief on-screen.

I like Ada's appearance in this season. The show is using her as the only sane and cool-minded person left in the family. Her view of how much her family has fallen is very important to give a 3rd person view of this depression.

This season has been depressing so we'll see how the rest of it pans out. It's boring but it's true to the story.

F Is for Family (2015–2021)
This is what I wish Family guy was

I would rather have animated shows like this than the forever running ones that lack quality and a defined story. Even though is a cartoon, it has the realism and the defined plot that i would like to see in similar animated shows. The character and the plot in this show have continuity which helps immensely with quality. It's a show where I can leave my brain on the couch to watch it as well as quality enough to not waste the viewers time. I believe an 8 out of 10 rating is fair for this show.

The Originals (2013–2018)
Really good show and much better than TVD
11 February 2022
When I look back at the Originals, it had a much more mature atmosphere than TVD had and was a much better show on almost all aspects. As a TVD fan, when you really think about it, the best parts of TVD was when the originals were involved and that show's quality fell off after the family left the show. That's how well-written and compelling their characters were

Season 1 to 3 of this show were amazing and the writing tried to remain consistent with it but 4 and 5 left a bad taste in my mouth because of the poor continuity and the fact that the lore dug itself into a hole numerous times that it couldn't get out off. I still feel nostalgic because I remember how good season 1 was as an intro season. Marcel being such a cool character, Rebekah's character being a lot better than she was in TVD, and the breathe of fresh air from all that teen drama in TVD. The French quarter, witches, werewolves... it was really well done and I really enjoyed it. But the last couple of seasons weren't as good as the pre-time skip seasons so I believe an 8 is fair overall. In its prime, this show was at least a low 9.

GOAT Show
26 January 2022
This is an iconic show as well as nostalgic among its fans. I watched this show and a child and thought it was cool. Watching this show as an adult is like watching a different show. It is so well done.

For a show that was filmed in the 90s, the technicals and lack of prominent cgi amplifies the combat scenes and gives it a sense of realism that you'll never see in modern war movies. It reminded me of how 70s war movies were made but also more with a more refined sound and visual.

The characters are well written and their stories are interwoven in the episodes to make the audience understand the veterans of easy company. The two bastogne episodes and the "why we fight" episode are so good and well-written that I cannot think of a way to make them better

RIP the men of easy company. Amazing show and textbook for how to make a miniseries.

Superman & Lois (2021–2024)
I very much enjoy this show
12 January 2022
This doesn't look like a high budget show but the characters are indeed well-written and explored. There's superhero action in this show, but it really takes a backseat to character and story development. It's really as good as Smallville imo. Even though Smallville is an iconic show, it did have its flaws.

I enjoy this depiction of Superman's story. It really hasn't been done before and as much as DC fans would like even though he is the cornerstone of DC comics. It's also a break from the incessant Batman movies and TV shows and proof that a Superman interpretation can be audience captivating and interesting. I believe an 8/10 is a fair rating so far.

Snowfall (2017–2023)
Damson Idris easily carries the show
24 June 2021
Great supporting cast but 90% of the audience watches this show because of Franklin Saint. I like the historical context and the realism. Any character can die at any time and you can feel it when watching the show.

My only issue with this show is that it's getting drawn out and it gradually resembles more of a drama than a biopic or at least a story inspired by real life events. The quality of the story is fleeting with future seasons so i hope they end this show soon on a decent note.

Young Justice (2010–2023)
Good first 2 seasons but the third season was weird
24 June 2021
I dunno what it was but the 3rd season left a bad taste in my mouth. The best thing about this season is probably the villians. The core group of heroes were meh and relatively unknown among dc fans. There was also a lot of plot devices that didn't make sense and wasn't realistic. Just there to be there. Obviously there was the forced PC elements but i dont believe that was all that killed this season.

Not a bad season but overall that brings this show for me from a 10 to an 8. The 3rd season wasn't completely horrible but it's like the same people that made the first 2 seasons arent the same people that made the 3rd one. The tactical realistic setting of young justice was kinda thrown out the window. Although it was just a business decision, the hiatus didn't make sense and it sucks that this show could be ruined as a result.

Justice League Unlimited (2004–2006)
GOAT show
24 June 2021
It's so good and the re-watchability factor is insane. It's not even only about nostalgia, this show is mint and even gets better the older you get as you understand things you couldn't understand as a kid.

The way they introduced other DC characters without taking the main focus away from the OG Justice league members basically expands an amazing world that we didn't even know was there to begin with. Basically bigger and better. This is the only reason I'm a dc fan and to go a bit off topic, why the DCEU is just so disappointing.

It's alright I guess
24 June 2021
I feel this movie's review is inflated especially when you compare it to other movies at the same rating. I appreciate this movie sort of ending a phase of marvel movies but MCU fans talk about this movie like it's the greatest thing since slice bread. Imo, looking at each marvel movie individually, Winter soldier, GOTG 1, and the OG avengers are much better. Even infinity war is better.

This movie was okay. For people to say this is the best MCU movie, it's just blatantly false and doesn't even make sense.

Peaky Blinders (2013–2022)
Amazing!!!!
5 February 2021
I wish I could deep fry my brain so that I can forget and watch this whole show again for the first time. What a masterpiece.

Wonderful characters, premium story, and Cillian Murphy putting on the greatest acting performance of his life as Tommy Shelby. Show matches the hype and this is easily one of the greatest shows I've ever watched.

I give this 10/10 and it's well-deserved. I cannot wait to see how it all ends.

Better than I thought
8 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Homecoming was nice, but Far from Home is better on all aspects, especially the comedy. I was legitimately laughing during this movie. Funniest movie I've watched since the Ant Man movies. The CGI is amazing, light years from its DC counterpart and I like the direction that the MCU takes Peter Parker towards and I can see how Spider-Man can carry the MCU for the next couple of years if Sony allows it. The only qualms I have with this movie was Peter and MJ's relationship towards the end. It felt too vanilla and Hollywood stereotypical. I would have preferred a Star Lord and Gamora type of relationship between them as that would have been more natural in the movie. MJ's subtle interest in Peter felt weird for me throughout the movie especially since she barely cared about him in the 1st movie. But in all, really great movie and it's definitely up there for me in best MCU movie as well as Spider-Man movie

Supernatural is playing with my feelings again
1 February 2019
This episode is the reason why supernatural is still going strong after all these years. No better duo in television better than the Winchester brothers.
