Jawan (2023)
Daddy Srk With Cigar & Belt Is The Hardest Cinematic Moment In The History Of Cinema.
It took us so long to see SRK in an unabashedly mass avatar and who better than a director from south to achieve that. SRK is having the time of his life here. Props to Vikram Rathore character especially. He eats the character alive. His mannerisms, voice modulation is almost pitch perfect playing both roles
Nayan has terrific screen presence and she gets to kick some ass too.
Deepika's portions are what takes the movie to an emotional crescendo. She nails it
The girl gang is good. Wish they had more to do especially the climax. Atlee missed a trick there.
Vijay Setupathi does well and provides a perfect foil to SRK. He is a hoot in the last 20 minutes
Anirudh's BGM is outstanding. From first frame till the final shot it gives you goosebumps.
Finally star of the show, Atlee. Many have failed to match SRK's undeniable charisma with a proper story but here he gets it right. He is a master of emotions and he gets to do that aplenty here.
If you want a proper entertainer with no to so subtle messaging, Jawan is the perfect getaway.
Feels Like Home (2022)
This is a grand cinematic show
I loved watching this season of "Feels like home." It was such a refreshing change from the usual formula that I've seen in other shows. But after watching half episode of the second season went back finished season one, then went back to start again because I had forgotten some of the episodes of the first season...loved it!!! Loved watching it again and then the second season and loved it. This is a show that will make you laugh, cry, and want to binge watch it all at the same time. The acting is superb in this one, and the plot line keeps you engaged. I was so invested in each character by the end of each episode, and still wanted more!
Babli Bouncer (2022)
I really loved the movie it's masterpiece
After a long time a female performance has been this much impressive. Madhur Bhandarkar's Babli Bouncer is a wonderfully written women empowerment film. I think this is the kind of movie you will either love or hate. I personally loved it. Kudos to Tamannaah Bhatia for nailing it as Babli in Babli Bouncer, Loved the way she delivers all her dialogues and kept everybody entertained. My first time watching it, I was sitting at the edge of my seat feeling like something big was about to happen, but then it never really did. The beauty is in the simplicity..Grab some snacks and prepare yourself for a thrill-a-minute.
House of the Dragon (2022)
This show is Greatttt!
HBO knows how to make a show.
House of The Dragon pilot delivered. Perfect production design, visuals, etc to scratch that epic fantasy itch.
Ramin brought the god tier score as usual.
Went from skeptical to skeptically optimistic.
Darlings (2022)
Absolutely loved a Hindi film after a long time.
Darlings is a social dramedy disguised as a dark comedy beautifully captures both the genres with utmost sincerity. The film doesn't try to mock the domestic violence, but deals with the sensitive topic with nice detailing. The performances by the cast were brilliant, Alia Bhatt as a innocent naive housewife married to an sadistic volatile husband played so well by Vijay Varma. Some scenes with the couple felt like ticking time bomb ready to explode. Shefali Shah played a mother who can goes to any extent to save her daughter. She is the most fun character. Roshan Mathew, Vijay Maurya and Rajesh Sharma lent a great support to the cast. The Writers did an compelling job and wrote the screenplay with so much attention to detail without getting information dense. The debut director passed the test with flying colors. Enjoyed the world of darlings. Watch the film on Netflix.
Deep in the Heart: A Texas Wildlife Story (2022)
one of the best documentaries I have ever seen
One of the best this year. Outstanding documentary highlighting the challenges & successes of wildlife conservation in Texas. Amazing cinematography & it was beautifully narrated by Matthew McConnahey.
The Father (2020)
One of the best films this year.
The Father is an absolute masterpiece and deserves all the accolades that it's getting. Anthony Hopkins gives the best performance in his career. This is a film that stays with you.
Run (2020)
I definitely recommend it :)
This was entertaining from start to finish, without relying on classic tropes to keep it interesting but rather perfectly referencing the great films like Misery and Psycho. Barely any blood was shed and there were no squeamish nail-on-chalkboard techniques -- just pure cat and mouse cleverness with a dark angle.
Ludo (2020)
A fresh concept simply superb
LUDO is hands down the BEST film to have come out of the Hindi film industry in a very long time ... not only 2020 but lets say in the last couple of years . It's a rollercoaster ride with more thrills than expected
Mulan (2020)
I absolutely loved the movie.
Loved everything about Mulan! The script, the acting, the action, the messages, the scenery, the special effects. Fantastic!
Marshall (2017)
Marshall is an excellent, compellingly film that is well written and thought provoking.
Marshall has a great story, told in a balanced way, and very well acted. This might be my favorite Chadwick Boseman performance. Even if Marshall was not allowed to speak in court, he was still really imposing. Josh Gad was also very great in this, and to be honest, everyone was. The soundtrack is also remarkable, fitting the theme and the time the movie is set in perfectly. It's just a compelling, well-structured courtroom drama.
42 (2013)
What a great film! Not a baseball fan but loved the whole story.
RIP to a generational talent. This was one of Boseman's most underrated performances.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020)
the story of a daughter who became the pride of India
The VFX by redchillies 🙌 JUST AMAZING. You can not differentiate real and reel. So amazingly made, world class VFX and excellent story telling. movie deserves all the praise that it is getting.
Apocalypto (2006)
Apocalypto - What a movie...
An underrated classic that deserves to be praised for the original feature that it is. A story of a warrior, born. Captivating from start to finish.
Vikrithi (2019)
Malayalam films are currently best in India! By far!
À beautiful and sensitive movie with brilliant actors like Sameer and Soubin in the lead. The same actors were also seen in Android Kunjappan. It was a sheer delight to watch the natural performances of all the actors. The theme is relevant and Eldho's forgiving and kind nature brings tears to our eyes.
Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016)
This movie proved once again why malayalam movie industry is one of the best.
The way this movie goes on would make you feel relaxed, the beauty of this movie is that its cast and crew selection, everyone acted naturally.Fahad faasil's acting was too good.I thoroughly enjoyed the film. This film is not for the one who loves action, mass dialogues.
The Old Guard (2020)
If you're looking for a good plot or good acting you won't find it here.
What I liked -
The acting in this movie is fairly good. Great to see Charlize Theron kicking ass! The movie has some emotional scenes mixed with some light, humorous moments. Decent character development with some good hand-to-hand combat scenes.
What I didn't like -
Pretty stupid villain. The movie is pretty predictable. And like every Netflix original movie, they leave the ending to be open ended. It may or may not have a sequel depending on how it does.
It's a decent one time watch.
Greyhound (2020)

My Name Is Khan (2010)
I am writing this review in 2020 pretty late. After watching movie I have only 1 regret and that is why I didn't watch it before.

Extraction (2020)
A Massive Treat for an Action Lovers
Extraction is Tightly Packed from
the very beginning and keeps you hooked to the screen with its Well-choreographed (High-Octane) Action Sequences, a Heart-Thudding Background Score and Brilliant Camera Work.
The story of film looks strictly Decent
Chris Hemsworth has been hired on a mission to Extract a boy, the kidnapped son of an Indian Drug lord, held in captive by a gangster from Bangladesh. Subsequently, as things fly off the handle, and with an armed professional behind his back, the remainder of the movie explores how Chris Hemsworth manages to protect this boy's life while hanging on a suicide mission that manages to get deadlier every single second.
Screenplay by Joe Russo is Strictly okey as the Depth & Exciting twists in the story is missing but Director Sam Hargrave has executed Brilliantly and Delivered the full dose of Entertainment
BG Music by Henry Jackman and Alex Belcher is impactful.
Newton Thomson Nigel's camera work amazes you by capturing the streets of Bangladesh stunningly, and the stunt scenes, especially the continuous shots during the fight sequences are highly enjoyable.
Director Sam Hargrave has really gone out of the way to capture some shots we haven't seen on this scale in a long time.
Chris Hemsworth, who stood out throughout the film and Delivered outstanding Performance.Randeep Hooda too succeeds to steal the show with his spectacular performance. Rudhraksh as Ovi does justice to his role. Pankaj Tripathi and Priyanshu Painyuli get little to do.
El hoyo (2019)
This movie is amazing. And so deep.
This movie is definitely a MUST SEE on Netflix. I don't even know where to start with this as I'm still wrapping my head around what I just watched, the ending and the metaphor behind the message. This movie is so relevant in today's society, circumstances and the inequality experienced world wide. I massively applauded the directors, writers and actors on this movie and their portrayal, and the writer of this article amazingly translating the message in the movie.
Marzi (2020)
