More about the egotistical investigators with their their idiotic dark glasses than the zodiac. Turned off after ten minutes.

Sad excuse for a documentary Says review too short

Had to repeat it three time to reach character limit. Documentary should be about story not the so called investigators more interested in massaging their egos.

Nothing new and Jim Sheridan putting himself in it smacks of his ego. He also is not a good narrator and his script is sometimes pseudo poetic. He appears to think he is some sort of super investigator. I skipped by the parts where he is on camera, cringing to watch.

Not great
22 March 2021
It shows one person who has written a book. Her book is behind her on the shelf as she speaks. That is just advertising for her book.

Someone else says her room she lives in bedbound is about the size size of a coffin. That is the sort of emotional nonsense that makes a mockery of these ME films. They love drama. it is no wonder they are told they have a mental disorder.

It is the film maker trying to invoke emotion when they should be investrigating science. It did not tell the full story of Sophia Mirza either. She wanted to record the doctors. Why would someone very sick care about recording the doctors?

Seemed very pro Milkovitts .I do not know the full story about Judy and the Whittemore Peterson Institute so cannot comment further. Also Milkovitts has turned out to be a conspiracy theorist involved with nonsense covid claims. That would make me question her claims

And there is no evidence for Myhill's diet. If it were that easy why don't the many doctor sufferers just go on Myhill's diet. Of course she is only available to the people with money as is Dr Peterson and probably all the doctors featured.

The film spells Dr Francis Ruscetti, a male, as Frances, the form of this name which is used for females.

It is a tired old same ground documentary covering the same ground, the same doctors, the same comments as previous ME films. Some truly brave film maker needs to make a fully investigative objective documentary including the people who have no money and cannot afford Peterson et al. How do they manage?

Not very impressive

Doctor Peterson says he is "i think i'm actively following around 1500" patients. Of course people don't see him unless they are rich. Someone needs to make an investigative doc about this illness as it affects all society not just the rich and privileged.

All about Brea
18 March 2021
It's not about the illness it's all about her. She made sure there is a camera when she collapsed in the wheelchair. There are a lot of peope who have this illness who are to a certain extent attention seeking. This film is not true of the ordinary person who cannot work.

Anyone who films themselves with aphone as Brea did is not going to be objective. She knows its for a film and the more dramatic the more chance of an Oscar. Documentary makers should not be seen and just about heard in narration. Better still get a narrator. Otherwise not objective

These films are an insult to the ordinary sick. You think any ordinary person can just see any doctor they wish and have someone to look after them. Not everyone has that support

Oh and she made sure to put on her make up for the EEG.That is a very sick person who worries about make up

And who cares about her love story anyway? People watch these films to learn about the illnees. The doctors featured in these 'set up' films are mostly only available to the rich.

It is just an attempt by Brea to make money and have a chance to win a prize in the film world. She sought crowdfunding but seemingly is unaware or unacare many are too ill to work and do not have access to the medical care she has. She is just using the ME community to cash in on the illness. I would not support her

This illness needs to be tackled by a brave filmmaker who is not afraid to ask hard questions of doctors.

Absolute trash

Some idiot calling himself an investigator who goes back to ground zero. Totally boring and uninspired .He talks to camera when the camera should be on the area and is more interested in his claimed investigator status. Rewatch Paradise Lost a real documnetary, which this is not in any real sense

Very poor and very patronizing towards the patients
20 January 2016
Very poor and very patronizing towards the patients. Mr Prior seems to think he is the only one who can write and that he alone represents the ME community. "I had the skills to tell this story" Most people do not have access to the doctors he had access to. It is also not the first film to tell the CFS story as claimed. All that has been well covered. Camera work blurred and overexposed in places

Documentaries such as this which focus on patients are of little use. They are not scientific and record mostly subjective patient experiences with clips of doctors now and then. What is needed is a scientific documentary focusing on the research and maybe a clip of patient now and then
