Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999 Video Game)
This is a Play Station Classic
24 April 2008
Although this game was released in 1999, this game has the right kind of back story and well-developed plot, with just the right game play, I'd have to say no wonder they had to put it on Game Cube. The graphics are a little bit off, but you gotta keep the release date in mind. As I've said, it's a PS One Classic.

This Resident Evil has gotten much better since the first one. The first one was horrible on graphics, so bad that I'd say you'd be better off playing the Game Cube version. And it had an obvious plot right next to the fact that you end up running out of shells and reloading equipment on the first RE. And despite the lack of ammunition, the enemies can withstand a lot of bullets. Not fair in the least.

The Second RE was suppose to be happening once Jill gets reaches the Clock Tower. That's why you'll notice the police barricades have been taken down by the time Leon and Claire get to the police station. The only thing that I liked more about RE: 2 that differs in comparison to this edition of the series was the fact that Claire, Leon, and Sherry get to explore the boarded-up places in the place. That should have been part of Jill's adventure in the station. And I also didn't like how in RE: 2, you can play as Leon and Claire. Jill should have had a better side character than Carlos. He's not a bad character, but Jill deserves better. And you know it. Brad, as wimpy as he is, would have been a better character than Carlos.

The Best Syphon Filter Game So Far...
21 April 2008
Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain is just about the only game in the series to finally catch some attention. Although you do not play as Logan himself, you get to do something even more fun: create your own agent. This game is not as easy as the last 3. It's got twists for the plot, it's really difficult to beat, and guess what else? A certain someone dies in this game, she's the blonde assassin that's been causing ruckus since she tagged along with Logan in part 1. This game should've been for the PS3, no doubt about it. There's tons of levels and just about every one of them is difficult, and I don't mean that you'll never beat them, I certainly did. This installment for the PS2 is certainly a buy. For about 30 bucks, this game is worth giving a try. Even my dad liked it, and he doesn't even play video games! You also get some new weapons, including the Phython, Sniper(which has night vision), and the all-new shotgun.

Heavenly Sword (2007 Video Game)
This game is a Heavenly Sword swinging slasher!
17 April 2008
Heavenly Sword was one of the first installments for the Play-Station 3. It was, hands down, one of the best opening adjustments for the fairly new console.

The plot was...well, I'll put it this way, it's not possible to assume what happens next. This game's story was very outstanding and almost unbelievable. Not predictable in the slightest. I'll leave it to the player to unravel the game for themselves, but I can assure you that this game is definitely full of plot-twists.

I might add that this game has excellent, superb graphics. Almost every scene looks real. Everything from real sweat running down Nariko's cheek to stunning hand-to-hand combat that just can't be beaten. This installment has got the icing on the cake, so you don't need to worry about the game play.

However, this game, in general, was also very, very short. I would say it took maybe 7 hours to beat. I don't know, maybe I wouldn't have been so disappointed had I not spent 60 bucks for it.

All in all, to sum it all up, this game is surely worth the buy, as long as you can find it for about 30 bucks. Yeah, any higher price and I'd say it wouldn't be worth the time or money. But you should check your local stores and see if this game's in stock, you'll probably want this one in your collection!
