Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate (2024)
Why bother?
Peacock, you clearly didn't actually care about this project. Megamind is a fondly remembered film for the 2010s that never really needed a sequel; and if someone did choose to make one, it should only have been made by those most passionate... Or at least, someone with any remotely creative ideas at all.
It's safe to say we didn't get that.
A lifeless, lacklustre cash grab (that hopefully earns you no cash) with none of the wit or charm the original film brought to us in the 2010s.
I even heard that the villains were actually borrowed from one of the shovelware games made alongside the film's release near 13 years ago... What an embarrassment.
The IT Crowd: The Speech (2008)
Gosh these reviews are cringe
Yes this episode is transphobic, everything else was funny except for this concept. If you can't understand why, speak to a trans person who has seen it. Don't just deny it being the case, learn something.
Inception (2010)
Ripped off 'After Last Season'
After Last Season (2009) played with all these ideas before Inception was even conceived.
Christopher Nolan is a hack and a fraud. This movie didn't deserve it's Oscar nominations/wins, it rode the success of a far superior movie without giving any credit to the original writer/directors.
Unicorn Store (2017)
Promising, but a mismatch
Brie Larson wasn't bad in this film, and I didn't mind her directing style, but I'm unsure that it suited the script. There's a lot of potential, and I'm keen to see what she produces in the future.
