Good movie, but needed answers
14 November 2005
First of all..Ray Liotta rocks. He is a very sexy & talented actor. This movie was good, and the actors did a great job in their roles. I can watch Kurt Russell in anything..he is always entertaining. The only problem I had was it left some holes...for instance, what was wrong with Pete Davis that made him such a psycho? He was obviously a handsome, confident police officer who most women would find attractive..so why was he so insecure..what made him so crazy...I think there should have been some reasons as to why he was that way other than he was just a nut. I mean, even in Fatal Attraction, you had some idea as to why Glenn Close was a wacko..she was a suicidal, insecure woman, and not very attractive. And Anthony Perkins in Psycho was crazy because his mother was overbearing and mean. Jennifer Jason Leigh in Single White Female was very insecure and jealous of her twin sister. So, what was Pete Davis's deal?? Also, I thought Kurt Russell's character was stupid when he told him off in the nightclub. He knew he was a twisted person, so why couldn't he just tell him in a nice way that he didn't want to continue their friendship, instead of telling him to "get the f out of here!"...he was just asking for trouble. (But I guess that would have killed the whole plot of the movie.) But, all in all..I thought it was a good movie. It just left me with the above questions.

It wasn't that bad!

I can't believe how many people pick on this movie! It's a movie...and movies are meant to entertain. I thought it was a good story line, very suspenseful & emotional. Yes, there was a lot of unbelievable problems that arose, and maybe the acting wasn't all that great. Chris O'Donnell is very cute to look at, but I have to admit he's not the best actor out there. Scott Glenn is great in every movie he is in. The rest of the actors were OK. I just don't see why this movie was picked on so much. I don't watch movies so I can pick on them, I watch them for entertainment..and I was entertained by this movie. I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to see an edge-of-your seat, emotional movie.

Identity (2003)
I'm confused?

Warning: Spoilers
OK..first of all, I REALLY enjoyed this movie..just got finished watching it the 2nd time w/ my hubby. But I have a few questions, and I do not have time to read all the comments to see if there are answers because I have to work in the morning..so maybe someone can help me out here. the rest of this contains spoilers: So, Malcolm really did kill 6 people...in an apartment bldg, right? Was one of them his mother..because they kept showing a photo of a dead woman who could have been possibly his mother? I know they didn't go into detail about the people that were REALLY killed..but I was thinking that since the Larry character AND the child both had this hatred for prostitutes, and Malcolm's mother was a prostitute..that maybe somehow there was a connection? Also...why, after Edward finds the key next to the woman's bed, and they found the #7 key on her husband's body..why were they all of a sudden in a big hurry to flee the area? I didn't understand that part..did they all think they knew who the murderer was or something..because before that, the Ray Liotta character said they should all stay in the room. I'd appreciate any feedback on this..thanks!..(p.s. Ray Liotta rocks!)
