Atlas (2024)
I am sold!
This really surprised me, I have never seen Jlo in a film like this and she did it so well.
The cast was great and the story line was really good, I could not look away, its edge of the seat and has an emotional story line.
The bond with the AI and the fighting scenes were great, I'm a huge fan of AI uprising films and there should be more of them.
It's been so long since IRobot and AI and this has satisfied my Artificial Intelligence wants for the time being.
I recommend this to anyone and also the poor reviews on this film are rubbish.
Netflix you have outdone yourself and this was cinema worthy.
Cordelia (2019)
I enjoyed it
I think the ratings are a bit unfair on this, it has a beautiful atmosphere and whilst it leaves you thinking, I think that is the beauty of it.
The acting is brilliant, and just 2 actors carried the whole movie.
It leaves you wondering what is real and what isn't. And the cello is beautiful throughout it creates a somber atmosphere which fits the tone of the movie.
I wouldn't call it a horror movie it is more a psychological thriller. If you like slow burns with twists throughout then this movie is for you....yes it doesn't explain everything but it leaves you thinking long after watching it.
The School for Good and Evil (2022)
Another Netflix winner!
Brilliant! Kept me engaged all the way through. Heartwarming and fun too. What a brilliant cinema worthy film. Netflix is getting consistent with such good quality movies. Definitely a must see.
Slight twist on the usual fairytale. Also see a sequel to this coming which I hope we don't have to wait long for.
Great stellar cast too and storyline which didn't falter.
The main characters acting was great and is just as good if not better than Snow white and the huntsman and Malificent twisted fairytales.
Looking forward to seeing what the offerings are leasing up to Halloween and Christmas. Well done Netflix. My fave subscription!
