Another one
19 February 2023
New Ant-Man is not a bad movie, but it's repeating current trend that been plaguing new Marvel productions. Main character is just an excuse to introduce few new characters that are definitely going to have their own stories. That makes Paul Rudd's character less important. You don't feel that this is his story. He is just there. And the story is not even that good. You can feel the lack of great characters from previous movies. They were setting the tone of story and we don't even know what happened to them after previous movie. It's hard to believe that the director is the same person who made two prior movies. Adding Kang definitely made this into Kang movie that have Ant-Man in it.

It's bad
26 December 2022
It's really, really bad. So bad, it is hard to pinpoint anything standing out. Dialogues are god awful, written by intern on coffee break. Characters are boring. Story do not make sense. Definitely is not engaging. Acting is sub-par from a very good actors by the way. Views are nice and music is not annoying. Overall, the cringe is what is killing it. People not watching it, is the only reason why Internet is not going to be flooded by memes. I watched many shows during this year, but this is the worst. If Henry Cavill was still part of the Witcher Universe, he would definitely quit after that show, so he would not be associated with that in any form. Do not watch! Nobody is going to give you back that fifteen minutes, that you will force yourself to watch it.

Good, but a bit cringey
19 August 2022
Show was definitely better than expected, but at the same time it was almost exactly as I feared. A lot of conversations are going to be about female empowerment and how it's done. She Hulk took very typical approachml. The only way you can build a woman is by tearing down a man and there is lot to tearing from the start. I feel like it could be done better, it have been done better in different shows and movies, so I don't have much hope for the future. The show is not for me. Its okay and still going to watched but probably after all episodes are released, so I can skip cringey parts.

Surprisingly enjoyable
9 June 2022
Ms Marvel look like it could be targeted only for younger audience, but if you are fan of the MCU, you will like it. There are many references to previous movies and shows. Overall, it feels like older Marvel movies. Very good acting and likeable characters.

Lack of quality
25 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As a book reader I knew there will be changes to the story and some of them I am not going to like. The real problem of the show are changes, but the way how story is being handled. It's just not that good. At the beginning I was thinking, that WoT is going to be competition for GoT. It's not even close. The dialogues, plot, actor's are not on the same level. Witcher with all it's flows is better than this show. I don't even know what I watched. Aes Sedai stopping trollocs, after their man being slaughtered, when they could have done it from the beginning is only tip of the iceberg. I am not interested in second season.

A bit cringey
20 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
WoT is a great, but very complicated story, so changes are expected. Sadly, they took it bizarre approach. Some scenes look like there were taken from other shows and movies (wizard is coming to town and mysterious mark made from dead bodies). There is one women are powerful scene and at some point, story changes into teen drama. Casting is moderately good, although Nynaeve looks to old. Actress in not even 30, but she looks much older. And the changes to the story are very painful. It's seems like duality of the magic is going to abandoned.

Much better than I was expecting
18 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Third season was awful, so the expectation for fourth were set pretty low. Most of the episode was dedicated to show new dynamics in the federation and the fleet. The new, big danger is yet to be truly revealed. Ending was really strong. I was not expecting to see destruction of Books planet. It's little bit different from typical positive Star Trek stories. Interaction between Michael and President are going to be probably very important later in the future.

Eternals (2021)

Not for Marvel fans
8 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's not your typical Marvel movie, that's for sure. Is it a good movie? Not really. It does have good moments, but the story is to weak and some character's have basically glorified cameo. It should have been made into a show or just concentrate on more important Eternals. Killing some of them of early in the movie doesn't help with getting know them better. There is now real villain and everything seems wasted. It's more of very long end credit scene or trailer before Eternals 2. This supposed to be the biggest movie of the year, but it probably end up as biggest disappointment.

Should have been better
10 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As story progresses, character's are getting more annoying. Salvor Harding (name is another anagram, by the way) is trying her best to join Mary Sue group, alongside Rey and Michael Burnham. She is not the worst part of the show, but she is lead. I was expecting more.

Story by itself is confusing. To many clones, to many timeskip. Not enough story in story.

Good build up
17 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It begins with big fight, but it's getting calmer after. The fight itself is great. Good choreography, fine special effects. Everything what we expecting from big budget show, but the good part starts after that. There are many great character development moments. John Walker anger after being abandoned by his government. Isaiah anger toward the same government and white people in general and Sam's anger towards system that allowed that to happen. The only person who seems to have solution is Sam. He takes the mantle of Captain America, even though Isaiah said to him that would basically made him traitor to his race abd Isaiah have every reason to think that, but that way of thinking it will not fix anything and whole episode is about fixing things and choices. Overall, very good and necessary episode. Shows why television in better medium to create more complicated stories.

There is no hope
8 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This review is more of a season review than episode review. Third season is finally over and I think that I am not going to watch fourth. The story was really bad, riddled with bad decisions and melodrama. First episode was good and if they had used as soft reboot of series, this season would have been more entertaining, but they went with Michael being center of everything. Making Tilly Number One, giving Burnham captain seat, sending of Phillippa and Saru - those were mistakes. New characters didn't bring anything fresh or new or good, although Booker have potential, but he is to tide up to Michael. Main crew is sidelined or dissappearing and appearing. I barely remember there names. Burn storyline was treated poorly and conclusion was underwhelming, so it's new Star Trek reality. There are no new species, no new threats. What's happened with Borg and Q? Where are Klingons? Did Federation and rest of the galaxy regressed? Only hope is that, new shows are going to be better, but I doubt it.

Disappointment
25 December 2020
It's not a bad movie, it's just not a really good one. There is little action, for a comic book adaptation and the action that is looks cartoonish. Pedro Pascal is quite good, but Kristen Wiig character is unnecessary. Whole movie seems to be made without any particular reason behind it. Its like watching a filler. I was expecting more.

Filler episode
11 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
There are only four episodes left and one is going to be dedicated to whatever is happening with Phillippa. We know nothing about the Burn, the plot is going nowhere. First episode of new season was very refreshing. New world, new story, no constraints from older shows. I think that potential was wasted.

Together
22 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Saru is trying his best to be a new captain, but his approach is not yielding the result that he is hoping for. He is not Pike or Georgiou, he lacks charisma and deceiveness and its going to be an issue in future episodes. Michael is saving Discovery at the last moment, but that was to be expected. Overall, pretty standard ST:D episode - a step down from the last one.

Star Trek meets Andromeda
15 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It's not a bad start. It's definitely entertaining and I am hoping that rest of the season is going to as good as this episode. We finally got some new tech, new interesting premises and no restrictions whatsoever. It's a new beginning for the show, let's hope that they will not screw it up.

Good, but short
1 March 2019
There are only two plotlines in this episode. Both are interesting and done rather well. More time is given to Pike and Tyler and new character is making his entry. CGI is not bad and acting is on decent level. Very decent episode, not very Star Trek like, but it fit very well into the story.

A slow, but necessary
1 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was divided into three main stories. Two of them we already knew, but one was new. Klingon part of episode had two goals. First, conclude Tyler story and second, reintroduce Empress. Michelle Yeoh is a highlight of the episode, even though she is present only for few minutes. Tilly story will be concluded in next episode and Spock part is a fuel for whole season. I would like to see more Michelle in this episode. Her appearance look more like a small pilot for her new series. Episode was slow, but it had it's moments.

PC is strong in that one
19 January 2019
The story isn't bad. There are more than few funny moments and CGI is top knotch. Action scenes are good, although bit chaotic. Pike is great. He is carrying many scenes with his charisma. The biggest issue of the show is probably something than many with reconsider as strength. I have nothing against diversity and I think that done can add more depth to the story, but in Discovery is a little bit to much of it. If they tone down a bit, It could be a great show.
