Evil Lives Here: Scratch My Murderous Itch (2023)
Ugh
This is the first episode after binge watching 13 seasons so far that I feel the parent might have been the actual problem. Throwing away his stuff because demons are supposedly influencing and possessing this kid. They always seem to keep saying this kid was evil only because he wasn't adhering to their religious views. Yet, he keeps referring to the "holy Spirit" in how to raise his kid instead of taking accountability. He'd go as far to even blame his own porn addiction on the way his son was acting, by saying he was possessed by a demon and foaming at the mouth because the porn was buried in the back yard. Ridiculous.
What If...?: What If... Kahhori Reshaped the World? (2023)
Amazing story.
This was an amazing episode. A strong female lead and great support characters. This needs a movie all of its own. There aren't many shows when I feel the villain got what was coming to them, but the main antagonist definitely deserves it as did the queen. Like another commenters said, it almost felt like when we first see Pandora in Avatar for the first, that's how the Skyworld felt. I'm very excited to see why the darker version of Dr Strange was seeking her out, but if I had to hazard a guess, it has to either do with the tesseract or getting access to Skyworld to further enhance his powers in some way.
Hoarders: Carmen (2021)
Love this show but..
I enjoyed this episode and really rooted for Carmen, however her daughter and son-in-law were annoying for some reason. Her daughter acted like she was the therapist, the main event and always had something to say to make her front and center. Her and her husband act all angry etc about the hairs but still coddle her through the whole episode, despite wanting to be hard on her. I get they need the drama because it's a reality TV show, but this family seemed to want to cash in on the game instead of actually cleaning and making this a liveable place. Also the son-in-laws goodbye letter sounded like he wrote it using a ChatGPT.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
Fun and quirky
The first episode I thought was fun and quirky. After reading some of the negative reviews (which are mostly from angry Internet incels unsurprisingly), I have to say who cares what they have to say. They complaining that b case she's a woman the creators decide to make her "better", but Bruce explains that her DNA is reacting differently to his blood (the incels take it as they're getting bashed, the poor babies). The babies complaining about the comedy apparently don't have any family that they banter back and forth with jokingly. Oh no! She talks to the audience and breaks the fourth wall like dead pool (she did this in the comics). My suggestion, watch the show and make your own unbiased opinion of the show, don't take listen to me and definitely don't listen to the adult male children who hate the show simply because it's a woman in the lead role.
Resident Evil (2022)
Only gamers are trashing it
I'm a gamer but they never said when the made the series it was going to follow the tried and true RE IP. They did they're own thing and kudos to them for that. Is it the best Netflix has to offer, no, but it's the worse either. If you're looking for something to binge and half-heartedly watch, go for it, and you might end up enjoying it.
The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (2020)
Entertaining
But that's about it, and for the love of SpongeBob get the head of security out of the show. "Dragon" doesn't need to be part of a scientific study, he's useless.
