Smartare än en femteklassare (2011)
Bring back Marko
So, I have to write 600 words and that is what I will do. If you don't want to read all of my gibberish, here is the conclusion: this season with the two new host is pretty dull. I am sure they are great people, but they lack that "it" that pulls you in.
Marko and Irma did a great job doing that. Marko is an experienced entertainer and his presence comes very naturally through the Tv screen. He has a very relaxed, non-scripted approach to the show which is nice. Having Irma from time to time is also quite heart warming. For the next season, please bring back Marko and Irma. We will unfortunatley pass this session.
Marko & Irma (2023)
Wholesome Tv
So much on the Tv today focuses on misery, death and anything tragic, because that is that pulls people. In journalism they say if it bleeds it reads...
The first season was great, lots of variety and you got to know Marko (whom I previously thought was a clown) and his mom.
After having watched both seasons I feel that I have gotten to know the real Marko. There is a story being every person.
I am happy that Marko is successful to the point where he can afford to live a nice life and also help his mom.
Although I enjoyed the second season, the first season was better. The second season focuses a bit too much on building the house, for season 3 we want to follow Marko and Irma around more, thing Wahlgrens värld, but Marko and Irma.
The Witcher (2019)
Season by season rating
I have no previous experience with the witcher, but I do like me a good movie, series, you name it. I wantch all kind of genres and would not call myself a movie or tv snob. Joe.shmoe of anything TV related.
Season 1 - Love the backstory, fantasy and the pacing. A good mix of character development and fight scenes.
Season 2 - Keeps things interesting, again pleanty of fighting, decent pace and good character development.
Season 3 - Not sure what happened here, they talk - alot. The character development never ends and nor do the dialgoues. I rarely do this, but i fast forwarded trough most of the season, only stopping to watch anything that seemed suspenseful.
I would call season 3 the bold and the Witcher.
By the way, Im not sure how the witcher was portrayed in the books or games. But Henry IS the witcher.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Spy kids vs a raging dumpster fire
Time, it's the only thing you are not able to get more of. Your life is made up of a finite amount of hours and minutes. By reading this I am gifting you with an additional 2 hours of life.
The scrip was written by stoned teenagers. They probably got the funding to make the movie trough some sort of blackmail.
Whoever read the script and thought hey, let's throw a few million dollars their way and see what happens should be fired, re-hired and fired again.
The dumpster fire burns hotter than the fires of hell, be warned.
Plot - Horrible
Acting - Horrible:r
Coherence - The Horrible:rest
(Christian Bale was amazing, complete waste of talent)
I would use the infinity stones to wipe this movie from existence if I could.
The Tomorrow War (2021)
Shut your brain off, way off
I have seen more movies that I care to admit. And having done that I am pretty good at just watching and not overthink a movie.
Having said that.
Chris Pratt is playing Peter Quill, but a version of him with a daughter and wife.
As for the movie itself, the plot has more holes than swiss cheese.
The CGI is OK.
They try to build some form of backstory to each character but fail, miserably.
Dont get me started on the last 30 minutes of the movie, what a hot mess. It's like you've microwaved a whole lump of cheese for 30 minutes.
If you can shut your brain off, like all the way off to a vegitative state, this movie is OK.
Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)
Is this what Keanu Reeves has been up to?
Honestly, I can understand people that grew up with these movies and wanted a sequel, I do.
I for one did not grow up with them and really dont get the hype.
Keanu Reeves should have spent his time making another Constantin!
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
Please do not make a season 3!
We're out, we stuck with it for 3 seasons, but we're out.
We stuck with it hoping the pace would pick up, it didn't. We stuck with it hoping they would stop with the endless character development, it didn't. We stuck with it hoping to see something that resembled the walking dead series, it didn't. We stuck with it hoping the characters would grow on us, they didn't. We stuck with it hoping to see some fast pace action, we didn't. We stuck with it hoping they didn't milk the walking dead name, they did! We stuck with it hoping it would be worth it, it wasn't.
We're out.
The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015)
One word, boring.
I rarely review movies, in fact my last review was 9 years ago on IMDb on another account. I watch a lot of movies, so many movies that I am generally more forgiving to a bad plot, bad CGI's, slow moving non coherent movies than the average movie watcher.
This movie was so bad though that I immediately threw myself on the computer to write this review and warn, yes warn potential viewers to steer clear of this movie.
The pace, the pace of this movie is so slow that at times I thought it was going in reverse.
The horror, or lack thereof. Not phsycological, no jump scares, no nothing. In fact, halfways through the movie I almost fell asleep, of boredom (really).
The story, what story? Movies normally build towards something, even if the pace is slow you can bare with it since it will lead to something, the sum being greater than the whole and whatever. However, his movie had none of those elements. It just went on and one and on, about, nothing essentially.
I am upset that I will never get that 1h and 30 something minutes back of my life, time i could have spent watching my beard grown in the mirror, or count the hairs on my legs, or just stare at a random wall.
Actors were all great, they were, however scripting, editing, storywise and so on, the movie is a straight to VHS.
