What a fantastic series
3 February 2024
I don't understand the few negative reviews, I thought Season 1 was very good, but season 2 was even better. What an eyeopener this was, very exciting and great drama.

I watched season 2 in 2 sessions it was so intriguing. I am sure that's very close to the truth on how government's would react in similar situations.

The cast was great and very well selected for their roles.

I Would not mind having an other season with this cast.

It's a must see series, absolutely great and with a view to the very near future possibilities of monitoring people and the risks we are facing by accepting all this.

The episodes are getting better and better.
20 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I am sure there are some new scriptwriters involved, since the previous season, as the episodes are getting better and better.

In the past there was no general storyline only loose episodes but now there is and it makes it so much better. Also the vibe between Higgins and Magnum adds to the atmosphere. I hope they continue with this during the rest of the season or in the new season.

I am sorry the see Detective Childs being killed, I would have enjoyed having him around . I am a big fan of the series, I also like Hawaii very much and it brings back good memories, and I wanna get back to the Islands as soon as I can.

9-1-1: Lone Star: Road Kill (2023)
Season 4, Episode 9

Not very realistic
21 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Just assume that you are taking the touristic route back home, in this case to Austin. At a curtain moment Marjan realises that she's being chased by this lunatic in his camper. She is driving a normal passenger car, he is driving a pretty big camper. Any driver in a similar situation would just accelerate to a speed fast enough to simply outrun the camper and seek for help at the nearest public stop. The road was narrow and had a lot of curves, easy to drive with a normal car, but pretty tricky for a heavy camper. But what Marjan does is slowing down and driving in the left lane and then apparently nearly hitting an other car. Also the response of the Police officer when he encounters the killer is not very professional, there was a warning out for several 911 calls and he did not check anything. Good for the story and ending, but not very realistic.

The Rookie: Double Trouble (2023)
Season 5, Episode 18

Seriously again
29 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I really like The Rookie & The Rookie Feds, but those episodes filmed as a documentary were absolutely terrible. I hoped that with The Rookie Feds it was a one time goof, but watching episode 18 (Season 5) of The Rookie yesterday it was a bad déjà vu and looking at the content it was plain stupid and bad.

Having 2 characters play double parts is bad, now Sergeant Grey was added. I really hope this was it and no more of that stupid documentary stuff.

The series The Rookie is (was) good, with Rookie Feds I sometimes get an itchy feeling of embarrassment as it's overdone. Let's stick to a series about cops in LA as there should be more than enough material available to cover that.

Disappointing end
15 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The storyline is building up during the episodes and a certain threat is developing and some of the guests are not what they supposed to be.

The characters of the guests were opening up and defrosting which was well done. The being there of Carmel ( a woman that was left by her husband and he also had an affair with Masha) was creating a promising plot, the last episode started off in a good way, but the ending was nothing and very disappointing. It looks like the writers were already keeping the options open for a 2nd season.

I am not sure that we (the viewers) are waiting for that, I am not.

Don't understand the high rating
28 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I only saw this movie recently as it was shown on tv and due to the high rating I recorded it and watched it. In my opinion it's a very boring slow, slow moving film in which in the first hour nothing really happens. Toni Colette plays a good role being a midlife crisis woman searching for something bigger. Only after the death of her daughter there's action and horror in the movie, the end however is in my view ridicules, with the mother as a sort of insect monster chasing the son, hanging on ceilings and on walls, with at the end the son being the long expected new king of a cult or sect. I normally like horror movies but this was bad.

A perfect new teamleader
15 April 2022
What a good choice to make Dylan McDermott the new team leader, he's perfect for that, a bit raw and unconventional. I like it. I hope that we get many more episodes of this good series as well as the regular FBI series.

Warning: Spoilers
This was probably the worst episode of this series. I had no idea what I was looking at. I re-winded twice at the start in order to see if I have been missing something. Please don't do this again, I like the series very much but this was bad.

Not very realistic, but I like watching
17 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
There are over 400 murders in NYC a year, in this episode a young woman is shot, the FBI is dealing with this single murder with nearly the entire department, working a the case with all agents and analysts, not very realistic as this would be a NYPD matter. However I like the series.

The plot was terrible.
17 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I watched it because I like Brown's work, but this was not very good made and executed. It was a sort of poor man's Da Vinci Code with actually no plot at the end, but with a sort of cliffhanger for a next season. I hope not this was bad enough.

Warning: Spoilers
I used to like watching the first 2 seasons but the first episodes of season 3 are just about the fears and problems of Jenny, the rest is secondary. I hope this will change because this is rather boring.

This is bad, really bad
7 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Seriously, I am a fan, but this first episode of season 5 was so unrealistic and bad. A computersystem can be hacked, for sure, but not every system in the entire city of LA, LAX airport, navigation systems of cars, mobile phones dailing 911 by themselves, traffic lights, lights in building and on the streets, hospitals, helicopters crashing, zoo animals roaming the streets, courthouse system crashed with criminals walking out of the building and of course a LAPD Detective gets killed because he goes after an escaped criminal all alone in the dark with no backup. Really Guys (this includes all LHBTIQ individuals)

I have watched abt 6 episodes of Season 3 now, we're a little behind in The Netherlands, but I am done with all the politic correctness, the woke scene and the message that the creators wanted to push. I am done watching.

29 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I love the show and I am a fan, but the seasons finale got some stupidities, first; really transporting the most important leader of a drugs cartel in a single police car guarded by 2 police officers ????? Second at the venue with all the police officers present taking the bride without anybody noticing. Not very realistic is it.

What????????
3 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I am still not sure what I have been watching, this is by far the worst and most stupid episode of any show I have been watching. Flashbacks of what? Stupid interviews and no story line and I still I don't know who that person was who did it as the images were blurry and vague. I really hope this was a one time screw-up.

Unbelievable all the bad reviews, this is a great serie
18 January 2021
What a very good serie is this, I could not stop watching. I really don't understand the bad review, but looking at the style of writing and use of words it looks like it's coming from the same person, a troll. This is a must see, with a lot of suspence and excellent acting.

How stupid can you be?
31 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
You are an FBI Agent, you have extra security outside your house, to protect you from a woman, there's a new female neighbour in the house of an older lady, who is vanished. And you nor the other agents are checking who she is. And what's more you are telling her abt the security and trust your daughter to her. Really scriptwriters this is so dumb and unrealistic that it's a joke.

Fantastic graphics, but boring and depressing movie
8 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I finally watched the movie, as it was broadcasted on tv here. The world it's showing is very depressing and I have no idea why it took 2,43 hours to watch it. It's very very slow, has a very vague storyline and hardly any action. They could have easily fit the movie in 90 minutes or so. The problem is with these types of movie, that you keep watching it, because you want to see the end. I suggest don't.

Excellent SF
27 September 2020
This is what makes SF great to watch,. A very interesting story line with issues that might be actual in the near future. I love the short episodes (approx. 8-9 min) and the cast made the whole thing very believable. I really hope for a 2nd season.

Season 3 was a bit of a disapointment
13 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Just finished watching season 3, and it was a bit disappointing, the storyline was weak and somewhat boring also most episodes were missing any form of suspense. I understand that the BBC has signed-off already for a fourth season, I really hope that the story writers come up with something better than this season, otherwise they will loose a lot of fans.

VR to the max, what a great show
9 May 2020
What a great series is Upload, funny, drama with a touch of romance and a view on how it might be in the future. The creativity of the creators is superb and the way it has been put together with the special effects is great. Luckily there will be a second season. I hope they make the episodes at least 45 min, as 25-30 is a bit short for such a great show.

What a good season this is, so sad it's the series final
24 April 2020
Season 8 is so good and I can't wait for the finale, this series has everything to keep you hooked to it. It gives you a reasonable good view of how Secret services are working around the globe and how governments are dealing with it, even if half of it is true, which I don't think it's probably worst. I'll find Homeland one of the best series ever and it's sad to see it stop.

At the end very unrealistic and poor
19 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The first episodes were OK, but due to very unprofessional police work, it became a bit unrealistic, the bad guy Anders showed up at nearly all the crime scenes nobody noticed him and he was always 2 steps ahead of the police. At the funeral of Natasha, the police was available with several officers and detectives, but nobody checked the people who attended, they were only checking for Anders. He even could manage to adduct Louise in front of the house of the decoy. They were very late in putting out an APB to the public, and the last episode was ridicules, Stine (the partner in crime) could escape at the grounds of the police station, as she was transported to prison, while she was wearing handcuffs. Then she shows-up at the schoolyard of her niece, again nobody is watching and she finds out the whereabouts of her parents and brother. She manages to kill 2 police men and enters the house, Detective Jan finds out that she's there and that the 2 police watchmen do not reply anymore, instead of directly sending backup to that house, he drives himself to that location enters the house, has various opportunities to shoot Stine, but instead he hands over his gun and starts a discussion with her. After Stine has been knockout, Louise runs as first into the room, unarmed, while 2 armed policemen enter later. Very unprofessional

Good thriller, but some times a bit unrealistic
19 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Season 1 is a good thriller, but sometimes a bit unrealistic as apparently the killer is always a few steps ahead of the police or the profiler. He's present or around most of the crime scenes but nobody seems to notice him, and as in most of the Nordic series, the killer is going after the leading Police lady, something that real killers would not do. And as usual the Police women are home alone.
