Willow is my all time favorite childhood movie. I'm not the type to usually get sentimental but it was just one of the films that really struck something in me. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means but it had so much heart , adventure ,great characters, and just a fun and solid little story. When I found out they were doing a series I was beyond elated.

Honestly, this is one of the worst written shows I've watched in a long time. I tried my hardest to overlook the annoying characters ( Kit * being the worst) but what sense does it make for most the cast to be British and the most irritating character sound like she just walked off the set of Riverdale? Is it to make her more obnoxious than she already is? The cringey quips, the "jokes" all to appeal to a generation that wasn't even a thought when this movie came out. Did they really have to make it joke of itself?

Side note : It got three stars instead of just the finger because it was great seeing Sorcha and Willow again along with the small callbacks.

I went into it with no expectations because like many i grew up on SNICK and AYAOTD was the cornerstone series of that tv block every Saturday night. Anywho im not a fan of reboots but i was very impressed with what they did. They didnt just copy the original nor did they go too far off the central theme. The teen characters are great. My only real complaint was how weak the story she told was however now that i get the direction they're taking it in im interested to see what they'll do. 5/5

I really wanted to like this show. I'm a huge fan of Hendricks and i love these caper shows. My biggest issue however is the three women are just not likeable. Sure they're bumbling and silly but the poor decisions they make are so stupid it goes far beyond them being inexperienced and sheltered. Despite how noble and desperate they were those motivations don't hold up when it becomes apparent the risks to their unsuspecting families . For example, the reason one of the women agree to rob the grocery store is to afford treatment for her sick child. That's understandable however afterwards you see how supportive and trusting her husband is it's hard to stay on her side while she continues lying to him. He even enrolls in the police academy and she still chooses to commit crimes behind his back that puts his livelihood and her kids lives at risk. You walk into a store and spend 20k on 4 brand new flatscreens and pay in fresh bills NOONE is suspicious? Also, if you lose store items you were going to return for cash you cant replace them with stuff you stole from that same store. Once they scan the barcode it won't match the code on the receipt yet in this universe that works. Good Behavior is vastly superior and way darker even if it was cancelled after the second season. Letty was a drug addicted ex con running around the country with an assassin but she is incompetant and her scams althought over the top werent nearly as implausible
