While it seems Christmas movies are churned out quicker than a batch of Christmas cookies lately, Christmas in the Pines stands above the rest. Fabulously cast with an ensemble of talented actors and higher than average production value, I recommend this one to friends and family often. It follows the model of traditional Hallmark-style movies but is a refreshing new take. Would love to see Jillian Murray and Dean Geyer starring together in more roles!

I can't say enough about the talent in this entire cast!!! The adult and teen talent are all incredible natural actors which is hard to find in lower budget films. Gabe Baker in his first film role almost steals the show... how about a sequel?!

I've never given anything a 10/10. Ever. But this film is perfect. So funny yet manages to keep so much heart without being cheesy! I've been through the licensing process for Foster care and this movie is a very realistic, and at times very tough, view into the world. Perfect cast, just the right amount of laugh moments through the tears. I'll see it again and again and recommend to everyone.
