A Million Little Things (2018)
Wonderful to see this team of actors
As a lover of Grimm and Psyche, you can probably imagine how ecstatic I was at seeing my favorite actors once again - and in something so warm and engaging. I love the characters - Yes, James Roday is best, but they all get their turns. The kids are good without being cloying, as so often has with child actors. I'm irritated that Season 2 ended in a cliffhanger and there's no word yet on whether a Season 3 is in the offing. Stories and actors, though, are awesome, and I sincerely hope that there will be a Season 3.
The Good Cop (2018)
Couldn't stop from watching the whole series
The only bad part about this show is that it is so good that I binge-watched the entire thing this past weekend. Now I have to wait for Season 2...Well, I'll rewatch Season 1 while I'm waiting. :)
Love at First Dance (2018)
Drama, romance and real people
I love most Hallmark movies - especially the holiday-centric ones - and accept that the 2-dimensional male/female relationships often saturate the stories. This one breaks the mold - which makes it one of my favorites. The 'other woman' is not a witch from whom the male lead needs to escape. Instead, this story is about people I can relate to, realizing that they care for each other, but are not a perfect match for marriage. Add to this that I really don't like dance. It's okay - fun to do - but I would never buy tickets to see a dance show. Even so, the dance metaphor and sweet dance scenes are delightful. I love this movie, and the stars in it.
