Q. What could be worse than SRK in a movie?
A. SRK trying to Act.
This champ began his acting career, er over-acting career many moons ago when I was an impressionable child and at the time all he did was he, he, he. Fast forward to the present day and this bloke still rakes in the moolah doing the same he, he, he stuff.
Doesn't say much for the maturity of the cinema going Indian audience, does it?

Safely give this flick a miss and miss nothing in life.
The Final Call (2019)
A So-So Series
The series overall is just about average. Firstly, it was too long and should have wrapped up in 4 episodes. Secondly, why did each episode begin with such sad, depressing, unnecessarily long stories. In fact, many of the sub plots did not have much to do with the main story. Thirdly and annoyingly, the background score was too loud and drowned out the speech of the actors. Fourthly, the CGI was really poor. The scenes showing the airplane in the sky is testament to this. Fifthly, instead of taking the opportunity to showcase how an airplane correctly operates, the pilot was punching switches and buttons randomly taking the audience literally for a ride.
You can safely give this a miss and watch something else. This series could have been so much better.
Giri/Haji (2019)
Not Bad but...
The series started off great, good story, acting, Japan, England and humor, it had it all. Everything was going well till episode 6, which centered on that by now irritating pansy Rodney and for some reason had nothing much to do with the entire plot of the series. Still, worth a watch!
Black Bird (2022)
Slow Burn
Gosh, with each episode an hour long and the story dragging on and on, it was only a matter of time before one would throw their hands up heavenwards and shout STOP.
The Old Man (2022)
High Expectations Low Reality
The first 3 episodes were quite engrossing and then the rest of the series went down a slide. The dialogue, oh the dialogue became like a lecture each time one of the main characters opened their mouth, dragging on and on till one felt like tearing one's hair out. This could have been so much better.
The Last Kingdom (2015)
Captivating Show Till....
Loved this series from season 1 to 4 and then season 5 began to drag and was a bit of a let down. Towards the end, it was difficult to make out who was who amongst so many characters all beginning their names with Ethel and Elfin. Overall a solid 8 from me as the majority of the show was engrossing, well acted, good sets and cinematography. Well done!
Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022)
Ohh Crapola
Overacted.. I wasted two hours watching this rubbish and for a comedy, I had a frown on my face throughout. You can safely give this a miss and miss nothing.
Sherwood (2022)
Sloowww
Half-a-minute scenes of trees blowing in the breeze, really! The plot took forever to begin developing by which time I fell asleep. The town is gloomy and depressing and so is the dialogue for most part. There is nothing in this series that I can say which stands out and so putting it squarely in the mediocre category of tv series. Do yourself a favor and watch something else.
Panchayat (2020)
Wah ji Wah!!
Season 2 carries on the wonderful work that we got to see in season one. I especially love the character Bhushan Dubey played by Raghuvir Yadav as well as the main lead Jitendra Kumar. The script, dialogue, acting, background score, cinematography are all spot on. A solid, well deserved 9 rating from me. Waiting for season 3.
Only Murders in the Building (2021)
Enjoyable
This is a delightful show except for the nasal voice of Mabel which sounds like some auto-tune contraption has been shoved down her throat. I think it would have been even better if it was a couple of episodes shorter. But overall, a must-watch!
The Bear (2022)
Noisy and Terrible Cinematography
I tried and tried to get with this show but didn't succeed. There is too much background noise, most sentences have a plethora of abusive language which makes the dialogue exceedingly and unnecessarily long. The camera work is really bad, its like every scene is shot really close up and therefore leaves the viewer cock-eyed. Safely, give this a miss and miss nothing.
The Time Traveler's Wife (2022)
Here There and Everwhere
This series is very disjointed and all over the place making it a strenuous watch. The naked bloke who keeps falling from the sky begins to get repetitious and then I found it irritating (okay man, we get the point!). Perhaps this show might appeal to some but it didn't do anything for me.
Mayans M.C. (2018)
Season 4 - Yawn!
Season 4 has suddenly taken a nose dive from the quality of the previous three seasons. Repetition, stale acting and a poor script are some of the reasons that this show should call it quits. Watch, if you have nothing else to do.
Jerry & Marge Go Large (2022)
Gem of a Movie
A refreshing change from the usual stuff out there. No profanity, no violence, no sex but just a good old fashioned flick. The length was prefect without any scene dragging on and on. The music score was enjoyable and most of all the actors delivered. Well done everyone.
Centauro (2022)
A Must See for All Motorcycle Enthusiasts
Loved it. Since I love riding motorcycles and watch motor sports the movie especially appealed to me. The story is fairly straight forward but the movie was all about appreciating that Twist of the Wrist.
The Staircase (2022)
Interesting Series
The acting, plot, detail and cast is good and kept me engaged. I felt this series could have been shorter by around 2 episodes which would have kept the viewer engagement level and content to a higher degree of satisfaction.
Barry (2018)
Ho Hum Season 4
This series was pretty good till season 2 and then fell of a cliff. I began watching Season 3 and soon realized into episode 2 that this was dragging on and was nowhere compared to the first 2 seasons. You can safely give this a miss as there is so much better content out there to watch.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Gibberish
I can't understand how this movie got such high ratings but it was painful to watch this movie which was nothing short of tedious and not funny at all. There was no entertainment value. Don't waste your time.
Wolf Hound (2022)
Missed Opportunity
Bad acting! These two words describe the movie in toto. The plot and storyline was good and I think it would have turned out to be a good movie only if the acting and dialogue was better.
The Trip to Greece (2020)
Gibberish
You wont miss a thing by giving this rubbish a miss. The two actors keep launching into this dialogue with each other that makes absolutely no sense and isnt funny at all.
Love Hostel (2022)
Nothing New Here
What's with the grumpy character played by Bobby Deol and the scintillating dialogue, Ha! The plus side of this film was that it wasn't overly long at 1.40H. If you have nothing else to do then watch this movie.
Gehraiyaan (2022)
Well Done
When mainstream actors leave Bollywood behind and move on, it is surprising that they act so well. Well done Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey and all the others.
After Life (2019)
Season 3 - As Good as Ever
Wow! This is such a delightful show to watch even into Season 3 which is still as good as the previous two seasons. Well done to everyone involved and keep more of the good stuff coming.
Antim: The Final Truth (2021)
Repeated Injustice to Cinema
Many many moons ago in a momentary lapse of reason I saw a Salman Khan movie and was aghast at how this was called cinema. I recently watched Antim and my opinion of Salman Khan as an actor has gone from bad to worse. How do you make a SK movie last 2 hours - simple, show the action sequences in slow motion. This script would have done much better should it have been done by so many lesser known actors who put out some stellar stuff on NF, AMZN etc. Anyway, watch this movie if you have absolutely nothing to do.
Perpetual Grace, LTD (2019)
Looked Good from Far but Far from Good
Boring! Wasn't funny, wasn't suspenseful, quite slow and so I gave up. Perhaps my expectations were high from such stalwart actors like Ben Kingsley but the series just did not deliver anything to write home about.
