The Gentlemen (2024)
Brilliant, Funny, Intelligent, and Captivating
Locked in from the first scene of the first episode. Watching "The Duke" slowly grow into his true calling, is amazing. The constant betrayal and "who dunnit" of the show keeps your attention. Always wondering, what's next and who's next. Can't wait to see what they do in season 2. The cliffhanger at the end of season 1 really has me wondering what they'll do from here. Also, there's a palpable sexual tension between Eddie and Suzie. A classic "will they / won't they" that adds to the intrigue of the show. Not to mention, the little side plots that portray the depth of the whole thing. Everything about The Gentlemen is gold.
The Exorcists (2023)
Terrible!!
I'm a huge fan of this genre of movies. This one however, was one of the worst I've seen. Between the terrible acting and plot holes, it just seems like they were trying to do way too much. Such a shame, I feel like it could have been good, if done right. At one point, they act like zombies to possess one person, but everyone else just needed to be touched. Why the hell would tossing the priests pills in the air distract the demon? The blonde had her neck broken, how did she wake up? The dad beat that kid's head in repeatedly, how did he only have a little blood? They just couldn't stay on track with anything. Too much going on and couldn't keep it all together. Plus, again, the acting was horrible!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Love it
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is great! There a mixing pot of comedy.
The Office (2005)
The original!
Steve Carrell is the one and only Michael Scott! No one could have played that role better. The love stories, the rivalries, the stories within the stories, and of course... Dwight. He and Jim going back and forth for years was perfection. The only bad part was.... This may have been the worst role Will Ferrell ever played. The cameo by Jim Carrey was great!
New Girl (2011)
Best ever!!
New Girl quickly became my favorite comedy series. Between Schmidt's OCD and "jar" worthy statements/style and Winston's cluelessness and random points of clarity... This show is pure comedic genius! I've watched this show all the way through 5-6 times and there will be more!
