Bad Sisters (2022)
Everyone should want him dead
As the season went on, I fell more and more into line with the sisters in wanting JP dead. In fact, I hated the character to the point that I highly doubt I will ever be able to watch Claes Bang in anything ever again. He was so good at getting me to feel a visceral disdain for him that I turned on every episode hoping that it would be "the one" where he was finally done in.
Sharon Horgan is spectacular (as always) and Sarah Greene was so good that I took a break mid-season to watch her in "Dublin Murders".
The writing was wonderful in that the characters created left me with an actual emotional tie to each one in some way.
It took a couple episodes to get me hooked but I was soon all in.
The Old Man: II (2022)
Great Casting
Wow! If nothing else, this episode is so worth it thanks to the "young John Lithgow." Christopher Redman does a FANTASTIC job capturing the cadence and inflection of Lithgow and gives you an extremely believable flashback character.
I am writing this after just having watched the second episode so if it continues with this quality, I'm going to be a huge fan.
Killing Eve: I Have a Thing About Bathrooms (2018)
This is an amazing accomplishment
Phoebe Waller-Bridge has written a gem of a series! The combination of the comfortable, real life acting of Sandra Oh and the outstanding ability of Jodie Comer as a psychopath that you can't help but love leaves this as a show that deserves every accolade it receives. If you want to hunker down and binge watch, you cannot do much better than this one. I find myself rewatching scene after scene just for individual nuance of facial expressions and person to person banter. Kudos!
