El cantante (2006)
Jlo was real good.
If the movie was better and if Hector was played by a much better actor, then this could have been an oscar nominated performance for Jen. Contrary to popular belief, jennifer lopez is a decent actress at times and can be great in great movies. I hope she gets her due someday. The movie was a slow burn but Puchi was a firecracker and Jen was real good in some scenes. Hope she gets her flowers as an actress and win atleast a best supporting actress oscar later in life. She needs to pick better scripts and hire a better agent. She should also do more indies like Ben is Back or Nomadland. She is a naturalistic actress at her core.
The Afterparty (2022)
Unfunny,boring and uninteresting.
No sense of mystery, bad acting, unrootable characters that are just here. Dave franco steals the show and is the MVP of this show, tiffany hadish is tiffany hadish in her upteenth haddish role. I mean i don't want to watch this show past the pilot...
Wolf Like Me (2022)
Great Show
This is a show that reminds me of Santa Clarita Diet but with a smarter script and more emotional undertones behind the comedy. I hope it gets renewed cuz i loved every bit of it and bingewatched it in a night.
Us (2019)
Waste of Time and Money
I can't believe I trusted reviews to see this film, I want to get my money back like for real. Critics are really out of touch and their opinions shouldn't matter anymore. The film was such a bore, it was so hard to sit trough this snoozefest. The movie is not scary, though it's funny at times when a horror film shouldn't be the fights were so laughable and the story went nowhere really except for the twist at the end.
You (2018)
Love this show !!! Addicted to it
OMG finally a good bingewatch worthy series. It's so captivating, i was glued and enthralled since the first episode. Penn is finally having his moment to shine as a real actor. Good for him but guys the show is so good. It's not boring and sloggish the pace, the acting, the cliffhangers all good in my book.
Mother! (2017)
Jennifer Lawrence's best role
I'm really impressed by Jennifer in this film. She single-handedly carried this movie on her shoulders in what will probably become one of the finest roles in her career down the road. The movie itself was a bit too slow and i don't see why there was such a bad response from the audience. It wasn't as disturbing as you might think. Besides Lawrence, Pleiffer really shined in her supporting role. But at the end of the movie you miss Lawrence and you think of her when you leave the theaters: I think that's the best trait of a great performance.
