Regular Show: Caffeinated Coffee Tickets (2010)
The first time you can see camaraderie in the park
In the first minutes of this chapter you can see how Skips and Pops really care for M&R, despite knowing, from the previous two episodes, that they are really a chaotic duo that always end up making a mess
At the same time, this episode really shows how M&R really have the potential to work and be disciplined, the thing is they are lazy, REALLY lazy.
This first season has an interesting aura, an essence which really shows you how the first storyboards were made with a lot of improvisation but genuine interest to show how the adult world works, with fictional elements to make it entertaining of course.
Dragon Ball Z: Doragon bôru zetto: Gokû shisu! Rasuto chansu wa ichido dake (1989)
Wow...
Episode 5 and the protagonist has already died, and with a smile...
Astonishing!
I remember I already watched this series when I was a kid but rewatching this is again incredible. This anime is the epitome of epicness, sacrifice, duel and fighting.
I've watched many other animes over the years but (maybe it is the nostalgia) no other can relly compare. The sheer emotion of reliving each moment is something I thought I'd never experience again, yet here we are, feeling the same things, admiring the same stuff and learning to be mesmerized again.
I wonder if other fans also feel like this...
How to Get Away with Murder: Live. Live. Live. (2017)
Yup
This episode it's excellent because it shows that the seed named Annalise has sprouted: chaos, death and deviancy are the effects of her spore (and she is the product of a determinate social context, but that is another story).
Also the buildup is insane and of course he dies like that, he deserves it.
How to Get Away with Murder: She Hates Us (2016)
Best case so far
This may be idealistic, I don't care: if there is a minimum chance of this world to be a better place, then we have to do all that we can to get to it.
Jason's case shows a glimpse of light in this chaotic and terrible world.
How to Get Away with Murder: She's Dying (2015)
Frank
In this episode, specifically near the end, we can see why Frank is a chad: if you want to be with someone, know them first.
Oh yeah, and the other people are having it their way.
Cry Macho (2021)
Literally men want only one thing
Cry Macho feels like the true retirement of Clint: a love letter to the golden times, the passing of the torch to a new generation, a sweet tear with a smile, brave men crying, but not because of pain or sadness, but because it all happened.
Everytime Clint dances I feel something soothing in my spirit: Cry Macho is only for those who take their time to contemplate life and its sweet little pleasures.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Yeah right
The problem with this movie is not the message: the intention is good.
But the form, oh god, so much cringe.
It doesn't matter if it is intended that way: the movie is sooooo painful to watch.
The acting, the writing, the editing, the delivery, all feels pathetic.
Also, imagine capitalism doesn't have a backup plan.
Ojing-eo geim: Peulonteu maen (2021)
Incongruous
Ain't the philosophy of the game being on equal terms?
Treat the wounds of her and then we have consistency. This episode is the weakest link.
Tengen toppa gurren lagann: Omae no ishi wa uketotta! (2007)
Wow
Aside from the sacrifice, the phrase "fill the void with experiences" must be peak philosophy in anime.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Voyage of Temptation (2010)
Anakin takes the cake in that ending
Yes, these episodes are about the relationship between Satine and Obi (and their ideals), but that ending really shows the true nature of Anakin and how he doesn't hesitate on killing/taking a life in a second.
Two Mules for Sister Sara (1970)
Great Movie
Two Mules For Sister Sara is just as my title says, a great movie, it has a decent plot (With an excellent plot twist) and great acting from all the stars (One of the few movies that has Clint Eastwood hurt and that shows him vulnerable).
In terms of effects they are good (For their time) but lacks some credibility (The Mexicans falling out of the church in the final scene is just dumb and the fight scene with the machetes just seems slow and exaggerated).
The music is good (It is Ennio Morricone) but it doesn't live to other works he has done.
But aside from all of that is a good western with really funny parts; a must see if you love Clint Eastwood.
