Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Subspace Rhapsody (2023)
Either you hated it or loved it
Once again, Strange New Worlds takes a chance and in my opinion, it was a winner. However, the reviews are found on the far ends of the spectrum. It pretty much gets an "I loved it" 9-10 or the Simpson's comic book guy "Worst episode ever" 1-2.
Beyond the singing, some story lines and character developed moved forward. Chapel will soon meet her fiance. Spock, now dumped, is moving towards full embrace of logic. Kirk talks about Carol, keeping the cannon police happy.
This is not the first time the franchise has taken a chance. Tribbles. Mobsters running a planet. Harry Mudd and the androids. The TNG in a robin hood story. I would rather they take the chances, and not fall into the TOS trap "the computer runs the place and Kirk will take it down with a logical arguement"
Love & Listings (2019)
Don't bother.
I'm on episode 6. I haven't seen one real estate deal closed yet. Everyone in the show is immature and shallow, and the situations seems very fake. Don't bother...
Star Trek: Picard: Penance (2022)
Real Star Trek
Episode 2 was amazing! The story, the action and the interaction of the characters reminded me of some of the best Trek movies. Best episode of a Star Trek show in many years.
Star Trek: Discovery: All Is Possible (2021)
Finally a charter worse than Wesley
Wesley Crusher would like to thank Grey Tal for replacing him as the most useless and unlikable character in all of Star Trek. Why bring in this character when we have undeveloped bridge crew characters, most of who I can't even remember their names. I guess in the future, alpha males no longer exist.
The Alaska Triangle (2020)
Junk
I've watched a couple of episodes featuring interviews with paranormal investigators. They always say what they saw, but never show their camera footage to back up their claims. This is complete junk
