Worst movie
11 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Let's just start. This is a movie with no character development what so ever. It looks like it was animated in 2004 with windows 97. I cannot believe how pathetic this is. Strange planet was bad bad but that was a bad plot. This is a bad plot with no characters. I have no idea who anyone is, nor do I care. The songs are repulsive. They don't flow and they just spout words. I don't understand why Disney would allow this amongst their classics. This needs to fade into AI trash oblivion and I am just so glad I didn't pay for it. Disney is capable of greatness still, Encanto, Luca, Moana. But this is the next bad installment.

Not PT!
10 March 2024
Yall should know I love scrubs with all my heart as I rewatch this for the 50th time but I'm a physical therapist and my wife is a NP. They have a profound misunderstanding of medicine lol. Physical therapy does not work on writing, they even used the words occupational therapy and yet kept calling Anne a physical therapist. Then Turk who had to go through med school before he specialized gets treated like a moron. I'm so sorry but surgeons are not idiots, especially hospital ones who round and do general surgery on multi organ systems. I still get annoyed when he works on total knees, appendectomy and pediatrics but that's beyond the point.

I must have missed something
30 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
How is this reviewed better than the first one? Lots of repeating storyline, a little confusing, cinematically worse certainly. I don't feel like we had as clear of a plot when you're thinking of the why if it all either. I did enjoy plenty of the references, the Mumbattan scenes were by far the best. But I'm disappointed in how Miguel is portrayed, I'm not a huge fan or the way Miles gets punked around on earth 42 and I really think a lot of the Spider HQ was super over the top and a little lame. I cannot also think that a 2 part movie with a drawn out storyline is better than the first one. Looking forward for the sequel to the sequel but it will be years probably and then I'll have lost my hype. Meh.

It's rude to give it less
20 August 2023
I'm sorry but people just really don't understand how to review something. Is this show good? No not really. I love the cartoon and all it's genius. But this show just doesn't adapt from the comic. They're also just not staying true to the comic. Too much regular dialogue like a human would have. I think what's going in is a bad combination of it being boring, storylines are just kind of random, and again it poorly adapted. I'm noticing here on episode 3, a repeat character. If they continue to do this, we might get some theme and actually develop some substance. However if they don't get some consistency, I'm good to stop soon. Just don't give it 1 star, that means it offended you to your core.

Just laughable
25 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Watching this in 2023 and being in health care the whole pandemic just makes me crack up here. I had Covid 4x and I never thought I was going to die as a young healthy person. Alex is a drama Queen whiny baby and deserves all her issues. Chip is just suck a bore and ruining his relationship. Daniel is literally all that's wrong with America. A self loathing big entitled baby. The hardest part about this show is I like Yanko and he basically got iced in season 2 for being normal. I've loved Jennifer Anniston for 20 years and this is the first time I haven't liked her at all. Same with Reese tbh. How you can take this cast and make garbage.

Season 2 is a game changer
1 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I thought this show was stressful and poor man's Shameless in season 1. Didn't learn characters names and I just didn't Think we were ever going to care about anyone other than some knock off of Lip. Season 2 just rolled around and I'm in awe of the change in pace and the tone. We are learning depth of character that we missed in the first season that actually makes me give a crap. Richie, Natalie,Tina, Marcus etc. Just adds to the show. The Christmas episode And the subsequent episode with Richie really made me think and want to actually care about this show on a deeper level. Kudos to the 180 that season 2 took.

Don't have contestants vote
24 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The signs of a new show are usually trying to take a classic format and throw it completely off by doing something out of the ordinary and doing it wrong. All good and classic food network shows have judges who actually judge and eliminate contestants. Voting Cory off who was the best Chef by having him A. Vote first and B having them vote verbally without writing things down is just insane and poorly done. Then Omar leaving, while ridiculous because clearly he wasn't medically cleared, was bad enough, you need to replace him or something, there's no way you planned on this few of people. I just don't think this has the chops to be continued. Alex comes in and helps whoever she wants to win. I'm just disappointed because I love Tuscany but it's dumb.

Wrapped up in 20 seconds lol
8 May 2023
Who does that to a show after 10 years? I don't love this show anymore, it's been bad for like 3-4 years, especially writing Murray out etc, having to add a different grandfather because of the real life passing. But Good job ending a show with a very regular episode and then being like oh k guess we are cancelled let's just do a quick montage. I don't think I could be more annoyed on a cash grab of a show than I can trying to finish this crap. I used to die laughing at this show the first few years. What happened!!!!?!?!?!! I don't see any of these actors ever having another role so I guess I won't have to worry.

Nearly perfect and overcomes early writing flaws
27 February 2023
I would say this show is closer to a 9.5 but perfect isn't there so you just can't get a ten. I think they overcome early writing struggles. His BF is highly unlikeable at first as an overly flamboyant cliche but then as he actually talks about himself and becomes a real person that could actually exist we round out the characters. I will always love Crista Miller, she is a smart and witty character once again but is finally in a less cheesy Bill Lawrence show where she can use her acting ability. Harrison Ford is priceless and a national treasure. Segel will continue to come out as deeply flawed. Obviously the situation in his house will continue to implode before it can improve. I also think this show will make us more aware of mental health issues while breaking down walls, while not reading as a pSA.

Good not great
16 February 2023
An awkward style of show for a show that has 3 prominent food network chefs and yet reads like they've never seen a well produced cooking show. The judging is very off, seems like they're playing favorites a little bit. The challenges, the time limits, the critiques, the verbiage of "knockout". Everything just lacks identity. Being from the south, we all know that these foods need a lot longer time to develop and render most of these ingredients but then they ding the chefs for not getting things that cannot be done, in a proper time. Assigning everyone different things that cook very differently also shows a real lack of knowledge of the food you're judging. I can't make a slow braised ingredient act the same as a fast acting ingredient.

So hard to find adult friendly kid friendly shows
30 January 2023
So I'm writing this as a person with a two year old. We don't watch that much tv but he gets about 30 minutes in the morning with dad in bed between mom going to work at 8 and dad has to work at 9. It's really not that bad but I feel I need to emphasize how much better Roadster racers and mixed up adventures were. I love the new adaptation of characters that are mainly for little kids but not dumb enough to make me answer questions directed at the tv. The characters have some sort of development despite it being one episode before another. Daisy especially was usually hilarious. But funhouse has all these horrible songs and back to a very confusing theme. Not a fan. It's better than clubhouse but not by much because now I have crazy songs.

Edit: bring back Daisy's voice! What the heck happened to Tress. So irritated to even listen to this.

Who cares anymore!?!
27 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Lord this is bad television masked as genius. First of all, this whole whole thing about the confident girl that knows what she's doing and then immediately takes issue with it is ridiculous. The consoling of Taylor to her is insane and what's wrong with everyone these days. The whole crypto thing etc, if Chuck doesn't stay in jail, then this show is over. I cannot believe that it's still on tbh. Axe was the epitome of a cool and wonderful anti-hero. Mike Prince is literally gas station vanilla with freezer burn, not even Blue Bell with high fructose. So you're going to tell me he eats 3.5 bil for no reason? How boring. That is not fun or interesting. Chuck is a psychopath and it's exhausting. Boring. Boring boring bad bad bad.

I love these movies
22 January 2023
I am a picky picky picky Disney storyline perfectionist where I usually poo poo on most things dreamworks as just ok and nothing as good as their competition but not the Sing movies. They're emotional but not distracting and they're smart. Even there cartoon characters remind me of the real life humans that voice them. I love the casting and the soundtrack. My son goes crazy for these movies too. It's just nice to have quality entertainment that is for both child and adult. I find that the meta critics are sadly mistaken here. This is about as good as it gets for animated children movies that are both quality and grab the mind and attention or a child.

Yikes!!!!
3 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I am a huge Disney fan. Not one of those crazy people who didn't like Encanto, Luca or Turning Red even. They all have their merits. But this is by far one of the worst animated movies I've seen in years. The plot makes no sense whatsoever. Names like Searcher and Legend but then there's just Ethan. Everyone's living on a creature but oh wait the creature has organisms and we're in it but not. What!?!?. Just like someone's bad dream turned into a movie in a very short amount of time. This movie belongs in the vault or whatever makes it where no one else wastes their time. If you're really looking to do something, maybe go back to the sequel train for Zootopia or one of the larger worlds you created, because this is just bad bad bad.

Excellent show for the very young
19 November 2022
I'm so annoyed with the reviews here. It seems like adults tried to watch a show for toddlers and got mad it wasn't cannon. I'm a super nerd about comics but my son is 2 and I can watch something with him that isn't Mickey Mouse or asking me dumb interactive questions. Show is excellent for children of that age. Plus there's enough music to keep him interacting and not just starring. Also, who doesn't love fallout boy that's a parent with kids this age lol.

Like duck tales on Disney, I also enjoy that we recruited real actor names for the continued seasons so we have someone we can recognize their voice.

Glad it's on peacock vs $20 on prime
25 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Movie starts with John Mayer and Novak acting like 2 NY D bags who aren't good looking but get low quality women etc. Mayer may even be like this IRL. Novak gets a call during a hookup to go to Texas because his not real gf dies. Narcos Steve (forgot his real name) is funny, Kutcher plays a somewhat intriguing character at first but like the rest of the movie just fades. Issa could have been much better but her part is almost inconsequential that she played it, probably could have saved in the budget there. All and all we make movies nowadays that no one would watch again. Not to mention, it seems like they're a solid 4 hours from Lubbock, why would anyone think this fictional area was Tech fan dominant.

I'm a difficult sleeper. This show is so boring and convoluted I could care less what happens. I hate every character now, especially Charlotte. Well, at least I get a good nap.

Mostly funny but heartwarming
6 August 2022
It makes you really thankful if you have children and may be difficult if you don't. It follows a really fun couple who may not have always made the best decisions in life but they're good people. They're trying to have children but decide they need to adopt and follows that journey. Show generally makes me happy because it's clever and not another stupid sitcom.

$5 movie that would never have made theaters. We have no desire to make good movies now. I wonder if we make trash like this just to make us think we can't make good movies anymore. It's. Bad. And it's sucks.

Michael Prince = Randy from that 70s show
12 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Michael Prince is like replacing Kelso and Eric with Randy on that 70s show. You have a perfect dynamic and you remove all the commentary from Bill and Mafee plus Bobby all at once? It's just utter nonsense. I feel for Damian losing his late and great wife and I think it was time for him to return to England in real life because that was what was best for their family. However, the structure is just all off. They wouldn't praise his ethics play at the end of of episode one of this season. It's pitiful and it's over. End the show.

6 May 2022
What terrible new casting. That guy wasn't so bad during the show but his little stance during the lightning round made him insufferable. I still hate that they don't answer the same questions and she is obviously reading slower for the challengers than the chaser.

The writers for this show have clearly never had children. Car seat in the front seat. Baby gets not 1 but 4 lights in their room. Has a blanket AND a pillow lol. Also let's not leave out that psycho looney tried to Jill her baby. I don't know why I watch this.
