Don't Pick Up the Phone (2022)
How can people be so stupid and gullible?
Watching this documentary explains so much about the small town middle and southern states. It's obvious they'll believe absolutely anything, with no shred of critical thinking skills. It's honestly like a Onion article in documentary form. It's also super bizarre that these attacks, went on for 10 years. Also how in the hell didn't these minors parents take issue with that happened to their children? While this next part may be a bit off topic, I can certainly see how we ended up
with Trump. I can also see how January 6th occurred with such a lack of critical thinking. I have a feeling these people's family trees do not branch out.
The Pajama Game (1957)
I was expecting so much more.
I've been a Doris Day fan since I was a kid, and enjoy her musicals. I feel that this movie doesn't do justice to her talents. Maybe this particular Broadway play doesn't translate well to the big screen.
Serving The Royals: Inside The Firm (2015)
Imagine being so pampered, someone puts toothpaste on your toothbrush.
An interesting look at an extremely spoiled family. It seems like they need a good dose of humility.
Sister Mary Explains It All (2001)
Hilarious even if you're not Catholic
The movie hilariously points out the ridiculousness of the Catholic religion. I can certainly see why people are leaving it in droves, if this is what they were taught. The end is extremely dark, but it shows just how mentally ill, and possibly bi polar Sister Mary is. I enjoyed the common sense humor in the play, as well as each character adult stories.
Meet the Patels (2014)
Great glimpse into another culture.
I really enjoyed this film. I loved getting to know another culture , and this particular family's dynamics.
Historical Roasts (2019)
Absolutely hilarious!!!!
For those who are complaining, apparently hasn't seeing the other roasts. All the episodes are funny, and if you did a little deep even thought provoking.
Jailbirds (2019)
Sad and annoying
I live in Sacramento, and I thought it might be interesting to learn this ladies stories. I tried to have a open mind, but increasingly was annoyed at all the bad choices. I personally feel sad for the children these women left behind, and hope they're are being cared for.
Mr Selfridge (2013)
Great show with a few hiccups
I was very excited to watch this, and overall
it's very good. I loved the costumes especially after season two, and acting is quite good. I do have one big thing that annoyed me . The show spans twenty years, but the characters age very little, and I found that annoying.
Mr. Holland's Opus (1995)
Touching
I first saw this movie in the theater with my Dad, as a Senior in Highschool. I had aspirations to be a teacher myself, and loved every bit of it. The acting is wonderful, and historical footage and music helps to tell the story. They're are several scenes that make me cry every single time.
Four Weddings (2009)
Weddings, Weddings, and more Weddings
Honestly I would just like to know which marriages lasted, and which didn't.
The Girl He Left Behind (1956)
I was hoping it would get better.
I only watched because I adore Natalie Wood. It turns out she was the only bright spot in the movie. The Mom was very funny and uncomfortably overbearing. As for Tab Hunter he was so wooden it was hard to watch.
