Judge Judy (1996–2021)
10/10
Best Daytime Show on Tv
24 August 2020
Judge Judy is wildly entertaining and whenever I'm home I make it a habbit to watch it every afternoon at 3 or if I miss it I'll watch it at 6 on the other feed. Sheindlin is actually a fair judge and her antics and hilarious which explains her 10 million views daily. The show is always in the top 3 for daytime ratings and had been for years. How couldn't you love this show? Also love the crowd reactions, bailiff P. Hawkins-byrd and the late announcer Jerry Bishop. Always laugh when this show is on 10/10

The Jeffersons (1975–1985)

One of the best tv shows of all time
23 August 2020
I think all of us wanted to move on up to east side with George and Louise after seeing just one episode. The first time a saw an episode I died of laughter without even knowing who the characters where. They were funny from the beginning on All in the family and I commend norman Lear for capitalizing on the success of all in the family and the characters by creating memorable spinoffs such as this (which is arguably the best one). Portraying an affluent and hard-working black family and a biracial marriage is apart of what made this sitcom ground-breaking . Add to that a British neighbour, smart mouth maid and wise cracking mom and you have the perfect show! The only bad thing about it is that they never got the finale they deserved after 11 successful seasons. I also wondered why they got so many nominations for acting but never once got a nomination for comedy series (even after being the most watched sitcom in the early 80s). Anyway great show!!

Great show!
23 August 2020
I love 227, being a teenager, I was introduced to it in syndication a few years back and fell in love with it and watched it weeknights alongside Different Strokes and Amen. It's one of the best 80s sitcoms and highly underrated. A wonderful cast especially Jackee, she 100% deserved that emmy. It jumped the shark, however around season 4 when Counters Vaughn's character was introduced (while I liked her you could tell that the show was declining). After the departure of Jackee it took a huge dive then left the airways a year later, but it still was good enough to watch.

It's ok
23 August 2020
This show isn't as great as people make it seem but it isn't bad either. It's a good show that I will watch from time to time but it just doesn't grab me enough for me to binge it. Sometimes, it seems too silly and over the top and I find that the acting is overdone sometimes but mostly solid and good. The writing is what i feel letsdown the show its often cheap, predictable and lazy and I can really tell that this is aimed at mainly teens. I don't see why people say it's the best black show ever because it doesn't light a candle to the likes of Cosby Show, Jeffersons or Good times. To me, it's mildly entertaining and above average just not great.

Cheers (1982–1993)

Favourite all time show
23 August 2020
I used to think that Seinfeld was the best sitcom of all time, before Is aw this masterpiece. While I love Seinfeld which is undoubtedly one of the best tv shows in history, Cheers blows it away. Even the Cosby Show which I still watch and what used to be my favourite all time show and to bow down to Cheers. From it's iconic and catchy theme song to it's relatable characters Cheers is possibly the only show to maintain the same quality from its beginning. The pilot is tv gold and so is its finale. The writing is pure brilliance and the acting is exceptional. It's again one of the only shows that's able to add and subtract characters without skipping a beat. One of the best casts in history, each perfect for their role. There's so much I want to say but I can't even say it. Definitely top 3 best shows in history.

Frasier (1993–2004)

Amazing show
23 August 2020
What makes Frasier so impressive is the fact that it's a spinoff from one of the most successful shows of all time, Cheers, but it somehow managed to create a name for itself and has become a tv giant, it's now easy to forget that Frasier is a spin-off. A perennial top 30 ratings hit and 37 emmys a record for comedy series, this show is definitely one of the best tv has seen. It's well written and wonderfully acted. Kelsey Grammer kept Frasier Crane alive and funny for 20 years! That alone speaks to the strength of the show. The focus on supporting and recurring characters is also outstanding as most shows seclude the main cast from the recurring. The high brow humour is purely clever, it's possibly the only show you can get smarter by watching, I've learned a lot of new words watching the show, just as much as I usually learn reading a book. That speaks to the depth and creativity of the behind the scenes workers. This show makes rich, snooty brats seem funny and lovable. The balance between high brow and low brow is the best of any series. While others talk about Friends and Seinfeld (both wonderful shows), Frasier will remain as my favourite 90s show and it deserves all 37 of its emmys and then some

Best Sitcom of All Time
23 August 2020
I used to think that Seinfeld was the best sitcom of all time, until I saw this masterpiece. Seinfeld is no doubt one the best sitcoms and tv shows of all time, but Cheers blows it away. Even The Cosby Show which used to be my favourite show from the decade has to give way to Cheers. The writing is pure brilliance! I honestly haven't seen a better written show in my life. The acting is exceptional, one of the best casts in tv history and they have the emmys (wins/nominations) to prove it! It is wonderfully casted and each actor did an untouchable job in portraying the characters, which are wonderfully fleshed out and relatable in one way or the other. I'm glad that the critics loved it and awarded the show from its inception when nobody was watching it, it helped to catapult the show to stardom, which it rightfully deserves. It's also finds a nice balance between low brow and high brow humour with Lilith, Frasier and Diane interacting with Sam, Norm, Cliff, Carla, Rebecca, Coach and Woody. It also has it's serious and touching moments, like the series finale. IMDB voter don't know what they're talking about, 7.8, seriously??? this show should have at least a 9. Wonderful show and recommens 100%

The Office (2005–2013)
I tried
23 August 2020
I tried watching the first season, but I fell asleep so many times so I gave up. I don't get this show at all. It's extremely boring to me and I didn't even laugh once. It just seemed awkward. While I'll agree that it's iconic in the sense that it's become apart of pop culture, I simply don't find this show excellent, just average.

I don't get it
23 August 2020
I heard so much about the show so I decided to see if for myself and honestly I didn't like what I saw. I found it dull, boring and overacted. I don't get the appeal to this show.

Still Watch It (Upsetting what Cosby did)
20 July 2020
Don't hate my but I still watch this show! It's my all time favourite, neither friends nor Seinfeld can make me laugh like Cosby. While it's legacy will be forever tarnished be cause of the inexcusable actions of the Cosby, this show is still one of the best ever made. What made it so special was the amazing family dyamic and the excellent writing and acting. Cliff and Clair are the best married couples and parents ever in TV and the Huxtables will always be the best family. This show has broken barriers for black people in television and that should never be ignored. Let's not forget it spawned another important sitcom A Different World which was another quality show. 100% recommend FUNNIEST SHOW EVER!!

Exceptional
20 July 2020
There are little flaws in this show, it's a near prefect masterpeice! The acting is exceptional, the writing is jaw dropping and the quality remained consistent for its 7 seasons. This show is not for old people only, it's for people of all ages. I'm a 16 year old boy and I've watched every episode of this show at least 3 times and I don't plant to stop! I've laughed in every episode, even after seeing it multiple times. I saw it once at 10 and I've been watching it since. One of the best sitcoms and t.v. shows.

Friends
19 July 2020
I wouldn't say it's THE best show ever but I do say it's one of the best shows ever. It's funny, entertaining and addictive. I love how it depicts friendships of twentysomethings in the 90s and the fact that friends can be your family. I didn't give it a 10 because they're a few small elements of the show that I didn't like such as the poorly aged jokes that I can't overlook, but overall this show is a 100% recommend.
