Peep Show (2003–2015)
10/10
excellent show
4 September 2006
By chance I caught this show on BBC America while channel surfing thru the million channels on my cable service. Needless to say this show is funny as hell, the camera angles are used to great effect as well.

The two loser roommates and their insane exploits are bizarre, yet situations that I'm sure many people can relate to. The 2 protagonists are often left dealing with paranioa, anxiety, latenet homo-sexual thought, among other things. The one roommate works in a borish office, while the second roommate is lost in a world of fantasy, with his band that's not really a band since he does not actually write music or play gigs.

This show rocks!

Worzel Gummidge (1979–1981)

Worzel Rules!
19 May 2006
in 1980 I was 8 years old and Worzel Gummidge was my favorite show... to this day i can still picture the scarecrow losing his head!

this show was classic!

I moved from England in 1983 and have not been back, However worzel is burned in my brain's hard drive. The thing that was so great about this show is the actor who played worzel was excellent. I remember at the time thinking how cool it was to see Dr. Who playing a scarecrow... The fact that the scarecrow would come to life gave it that slight creepy factor, balanced out by the hilarious situations the bumbling worzel would find himself in...

this movie rules!!!

If you dig early 70's films from the UK this movie is a must!

Peter Cushing, Calvin Lockhart...it does'nt get any better than that!

Movie soundtrack is also full of that cool 70's cheesy style.

There is some cool arial photography and action sequences filmed from a helicopter ovr a rural English estate and manor house. The enterior shots are filmed in a luxurious mansion with Lockart's character playing a black Aleister Crowley meets big game hunter.

The other characters are guests on his remote estate, at times being held against their will by security cameras and an electric fence.

The Moon is full, Peter Cushing is over for dinner... better grab your wolfsbane and silver!!!
