Just finished the finale of season one!
10 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So good. Now I cannot wait for season two. I really loved the way it ended. The whole season has been fantastic.

This is a well written and acted series. I loved each character so much. The acting was superb and very believable.

My one and only complaint is Claire's character, her decent into a morally depravity has annoyed me, especially considering the way she relentlessly judged her father. The whole super-villain character is redundant, she's such a good actress, and I see her as more. The monkeys in her father's laboratory were there prior to her arrival and were already infected. Her first act that crossed moral lines was the procedure she conducted on that kid, Chris. Her intent for Eleanor is repulsive, and plummets her down into the rabbit hole of corruption. And I don't like it.

Since I feel so compelled to write all this, clearly I love this series.

Wonderful

I so thoroughly enjoyed this show. It was so different and captivating, each and every actor was incredible in their role, the story was both interesting and morally relevant.

I am deeply disappointed there won't be another season. How can such a great show not get renewed??? A show like this is what we wait for, it's what TV was invented for. Makes no sense. I am upset.

And their reasoning stunk-- they thought the story came to a 'natural end'?? No. That's such BS. It's not done buddy. Get back to it before no one cares anymore.

Omg, I don't have 58 characters left to say, 542 is adequate.

Old... Boring

I mean playing it would be fun, but watching it is mind-numbing at times. Worse than nine innings of baseball, and especially that "nice memories" episode they have toward the end of each season... KILL ME NOW.

An Imperfect Work of Art
19 November 2019
It's a heavy and diffucult topic this show took on. And there are definitely holes-- it's flawed and the script is awkward at times... but this is truly a work of art, like no other. It's sci-fi crossed with historical oppression, and don't expect it to run smoothly.

It attempts to explore a dark history, and makes the viewer think about morose and political subjects, yet not in a whiny or preachy way... I love how I learned a little about japanese culture, I loved the round characters, and I loved this strange story overall.

I like it a lot!

I think I'm gonna love this show. I love the characters, every one of them, but especially Scott Foley, who is SO damn cute in this! Been watching Mr. Foley act since Felicity, and he is just perfect for this role, his sweet and benevolent personality makes him even hotter as an FBI agent. I love him too much. The Mulder-Skully vibe is slightly annoying already, knowing Cohan and Foley's sexual banter will probably never evolve, but I can't stop watching regardless.

Incredible

This might be my favourite movie. I can't think of one I liked better. It's even better the second time you watch it. I so wish there were more like it. It's suspense more than horror, and the dialogue and character building make it special.

M. Night Shyamalan's best, no doubt.

Romantic Serial Killer

Warning: Spoilers
I loved this show so much more than I expected to. It was beautifully written and wonderfully acted. It is unmatched, there is nothing I've seen like it.

I would've given it a 9/10 if Beck had really forgiven him and fallen in love with the true Joe, and I was disappointed that he killed her in the end, although I'm still not fully convinced she's dead... even though it does seem she is. I also really wish Paco didn't move away.

I found the trailer super cheese, and had low expectations going in, but I'm SO glad I watched it, and will recommend it to others.

Great TV... utterly watchable.

Potential Lost

This was almost a really good movie, and then I'm not sure what happened. I wish they had just kept it a trafficking movie instead of trying to make it about snuff films out of nowhere. Mischa Barton could have been such a strong character, but it's like they didn't let her. The story began to feel false after the abortion foolery scene, and went downhill thereafter... still kinda liked it, but that's probably because I had such low expectations, I saw it's rating beforehand, and also I liked the very end.
