The Lost City (2022)
Cute
Don't go looking for award winning but the one-lines are funny and the story is cute. I enjoyed it even if it was a little slap-stick at times. Sandra Bullock has aged so well!!!!
Kastanjemanden (2021)
Excellent crime drama
Dark and chilling storyline liken to The Killing or The Fall. I really enjoyed it and my kind was captivated with this who-done-it. I highly recommend if you are drawn to gritty police murder dramas.
Ray Donovan: The Movie (2022)
Such a letdown
What a bummer! I LOVED this show and so I was really looking forward to this movie to tie up all the lose ends from the early ending season finale. What a major letdown that it was not at all the same fast pace and dark humor that the tv show was built upon. It was like watching a car crash in slow motion. So disappointed.

It's entertaining
It's an entertaining true horror/thriller but it's filmed in a very strange manner. I don't just mean the lost footage from her handheld camcorder- the entire film just feels like a low budget play at a back theater house. I think it's a decent enough storyline, the acting is ok, I think it's mostly the poor cinematography and the background music that makes it feel cheap. I did watch the entire season in one sitting so I would say it's interesting and worth the watch.
Hawkeye (2021)
Seems comical
Lighthearted and enjoyable but hard to take too seriously. Definitely not as good as cap marvel or black widow but still enjoyable. I would reccomend if you're looking for clean fun with the family.
Yellowjackets (2021)
Definitely lord of the flies but creepier
I love this. It's the genre I didn't know I was missing in my life. Horror/thriller/muster/realistic fiction all in one. It's got super dark and creepy vibes, especially the first two episodes so far, but I don't want to turn it off and can't stop watching it. It's definitely a love or hate kind of show.
The Long Call (2021)
Excellent storyline
This was a great first season. A slow burn but had some unexpected twists and turns as well as a gripping tale of a young man's identity and love. Had me in tears. Excellent acting. I am hopeful for a second season!
Please Like Me: Burrito Bowl (2016)
So sad
I loved this show. Made me laugh and cry.... And this episode took my breath away. Beautiful and vulnerable and real look at loss. I wept watching this one.
Beast (2017)
Really dark
Dark and weird story. I'm still not sure if I liked it. Seemed disjointed and sad without the real thing I wanted was for Mol to love herself and walk away from all of it.
Foundation (2021)
All over the place
I wanted to love this.... I tried to love it..... I watched here full episodes and finally through in the towel. So much dialogue without a clear path explaining the storyline well enough. And it just got boring. I thought I had missed an episode at one point bc it jumped so much in the next episode. Really bummed bc I expect more from Apple.
Dune (2021)
A little difficult to follow
For the average Joe it can be a little much to follow but it's a great story line and so much potential for a series! Looking forward to the next part!
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)
It's good fun
Much lighter tone than John wick and a decent enough storyline. Watched it easily enough and didnt fall asleep. I recommend.
Rewind (2019)
Beautiful and heartbreaking story of strength
As an educator i have seen children endure abuse at the hands of their trusted circles and I found this documentary a powerful voice for the survivors of sexual abuse. What a brave and chilling story.
Godless (2017)
I honestly don't know how it's not a 10 for all
This is the best western I've seen in a long time. I liked it better than Hell on Wheels even. Well written, well directed and the acting is out of this world. I couldn't tear away from it. WATCH IT NOW.
Ready or Not (2019)
Really well done comedy-horror
Probably the best horror film I've ever seen and the dark humor gives the perfect comedic relief at just the right times. While similar to Get Out I actually liked this better. Anyone giving it poor review can only be from a dislike of the genre, rather than the film itself. Great movie.
Black Summer (2019)
So disappointing
It seemed interesting enough at first but halfway through episode 2 I couldn't figure out what exactly i was watching anymore. Very little good interaction between characters and other than adrenaline-rush fear there are few emotions portrayed. No grieving for her husband turning to a zombie, chasing her down to eat her and then shot in the head. Just happy to be alive? After TWD this was as real letdown.
Exposed (2016)
Not what I thought
I really enjoyed this mystery. It unfolds and is not at all what I expected and that is the best part. Even with making predictions I didn't see it doing the way I it did.
Glacé (2016)
Good storyline
I found the storyline well invented and twisted. I did not appreciate the ending because... well it really wasn't an ending at all. I also found the film to reference to a previous crime so often that one would think there would be at least flashbacks provided for the viewer to imagine. I actually googled to see if this was a second film and perhaps I had missed the first one. But this is the entire tale. It's a good watch and good mystery. Just missing a few details.
